Its been a couple days since I found out John was leaving for his tour. We are both dreading his leave, especially me. I really didn't want him to go, but I know its very important. I don't know what I'm gonna do here alone.
He's leaving really early in the morning tomorrow because he has a interview at 7:00am.
We aren't really doing anything today but enjoying each others presence. We've been cuddling for about an hour now and I'm absolutely loving it. We are so close to each other now its almost unbelievable.
"John," I say. He moves his head a little and says "yeah hun?"
"I'm gonna miss you, a lot"
He doesn't do anything for a minute.
"I'm gonna miss you too" he finally let's out. "A lot" he adds.
He squeezes me tighter than before and it makes me feel protected.
"John, I love you" I continue to speak.
"And I love you" he replies.
We've been having small conversations like this the whole time. It feels really nice to just speak and be close to him for the last time until he leaves.
"Katy, I'm gonna be gone for a month and a half." He sounds almost amazed, but I'm not.
"Are you excited?" I ask.
"Yeah, I'm excited to see all my fans and I'm excited to sing. Are you?" He asks. I dont know why he asked if I was excited because obviously I wasn't but I decide to not make him worry
"Yup" I pop out.
We stay quiet for a bit.
"Do you want to do something today?" He asks
"I don't know, it depends" I say.
"I don't know what to do though" he says.
"Mmm" I hum. "I don't know what to do either but laying in bed all day sounds lame." I say.
"Ooh how about going to dinner with all our friends?" I blurt out
"It can be like a going away gathering." I say all excitedly.
I waited for his answer.
"That sounds great, but we have to call them quick before it gets to late." He says. I break from his grip and get up to get my phone
"Ok, where should we go?" I ask, well shout from the bathroom
"Um I don't know, wherever I guess" he yells back. I walk back in the bedroom to see John on his phone.
I call my friends: Shannon, Markus, Johnny, Sarah, Tamera, Erika, ect... Most of them are able to show up.
I hang up the phone after calling them all and hop on the bed and sit on my knees.
"So?" I ask. He looks up from his phone.
"I was thinking we could go somewhere simple, so we can have fun." He said.
"Where?" I asked
"What about Red Robin?" He squinted his eyes and waited for my reaction. Jokes on him, I love Red Robin.
"Ok, sounds great" I say all excited. I wasn't really excited but I had to show him that I cared enough to not be sad when he leaves. I wanted him to know that anything he does makes me happy.
"Ok then its settled. 6:00?" He said
"Yup 6 is great." I looked at the time on my phone and realized that I had to get ready. Quick. It was 4:55.
I jumped up and ran into the closet to find the perfect dress. I then remember that nobody knows where to go. I get my phone and tell everyone to meet us at Red Robin. I race back into the closet and pick out an all black, tight dress. I grab all my other necessities and head for the bathroom. On my way there I see John just laying on the bed, on his phone. I roll my eyes and keep going. I strip and jump in the shower. I wash everything real quick.
