Quick A/N:
Sorry... Short chapter -.-

~ELISE'S POV~
I knew my friends didn't like tea.
They were going to choke it down if I had to threaten them.
I had forgotten how dangerous this place was, and Blood could easily and casually murder them. Yet, he seemed to have a sweet spot for outsiders.
Something didn't feel right... Blood had  changed his mind awfully fast. My instinct was to not trust him, i didn't. Iwas going to stay alert and on guard.
...not that she could do anything...
I was scared. I really was. This... Dream? Was just freaking me out, and the manga never substituted to teach me about the real world.
Even in the manga, I had never liked Blood. The sleazy, slightly perverted leader was cruel and tricky to deal with.
I hadn't predicted the danger of being on this world, a world where life was meaningless and everyone had a gun.
Life isn't meaningless. I could go through a whole rant about how these people needed to care about their lives, but that would make me sound like a hypocrite.
Tick, tock, they're all just clocks...
That thought popped into my brain and brought me piece of mind while we followed the Hatter. Ticking clocks... Were creepy. But that's what make up the "hearts" of the people in this world. No beating hearts... It seemed easy to believe in the manga, but they were all so alive, warm, human even.
In real life, the concept was sick and disturbing. It was the best I could do to try and keep my friends alive. We were in more danger already than they thought we were in...
Zora, who was leading the three of us, abruptly stopped without warning. Both me and Kayla had been trotting along at a good pace, so this made us fall. And as I found out a second later, Zora was the biggest hope we had for staying alive. She had also come to a stiff crouch when three bullets went whizzing above our heads.
The disturbance caused Blood to look back sharply. A man with distinct orange hair with a pair of tawny rabbit ears and purple scarf was coming over with a snarl.
Elliot March, Mr. Itchy Trigger Finger...
"Boss, these asses were-" just as Elliot started to talk, Blood whipped his cane across Elliot's face.
"And what do you think you're doing, Elliot?" Blood hissed.
"B-Blood! But the girls were-" Elliot stuttered. Blood flipped his cane in his hand and swung it, hard, into Elliot's side.
"I asked you a question, Elliot." Blood repeated the question with distaste. "What do you think you're doing?"
"...Nngh..."
Zora was silently mouthing curses while I clung onto her arm, terrified. Kayla was floating somewhere behind them. Elliot didn't even try to run or defend himself as Blood beat his subordinate mercilessly with the cane. Elliot started to cough up blood, but Blood didn't stop.
"Answer me, Elliot! Did I tell you to shoot my guests?"
"No, you... y-you didn't!"
"Then why don't you listen to me?"
I didn't think this kind of brutality was fair. Yes, I could have died, but Elliot didn't know we were guests. Technically, it wasn't his fault.
Wham! Blood jammed the end of the cane into Elliot's solar plexus(look it up!). Elliot finally crumpled to the ground.
"Why do I have to constantly tell you not to go what I order you to do?!" Blood rammed the bottom of his boot into the back of Elliot's head. I closed my eyes in horror, falling to the ground. Zora took that moment I was distracted to whisper something to Kayla, who opened her mouth to reply but stopped as Blood turned back to us with an annoyed sigh.
"I give my upmost apologies for his morbid behavior. Please forgive me, miss." I opened my eyes in surprise. Blood was standing next to me, his white-gloved hand extended. I took it as he easily pulled me to my feet. "Sorry if I scared you." His voice was soft, but I was still trembling.
Zora and Kayla were grinning like idiots and whispering to each other. Most likely about how I was a scaredy cat with a weak stomach for violence.
"Thanks a lot, guys." I muttered. For some reason Blood hadn't let go of my hand, and lead me the rest of the way to the tea party. Kayla and Zora followed shortly behind me. I looked at them. "A little help here?" I huffed.
"No, sorry, no help is available in this area. Move and try again." Kayla replied sarcastically. "Unless you can't because you're drowning in pleasure."
"...Da FAQ?!" Kayla just had that idiot smile on her face that was making me angry at her. She whispered to Zora again, but didn't bother hiding the words this time. She pointed at me and Blood.
"New ship, Guys!" Kayla resumed humming innocently as I glared at her.
Slowly I accepted the fact that a mafia boss that had just pointed a gun at my best friend was holding my and and leading me to have tea.
"This is so not a ship..." I huffed.
My friends were driving me nuts. Or bananas...
But whatever they might say, I am so not in love with a womanizer like Blood Dupre!
