Hey guys, I will continue this book. Please comment. It gives me motivation. I am writing this on my iPad so please understand the misspellings. Here ya go!
"Get your swimsuit on." River said through the small crack in the door.
"Why?" Stupid question. Why would you put a swimsuit in, Aria? You're going swimming you idiot!
"We're going-"
"Swimming. Yeah." He smiled at me before turning away; allowing me to change. I put on my swimsuit. It was a Marilyn Monroe copy. I grabbed my hat and sunglasses and a crap ton of sunscreen and walk out to River's room. Not thinking, I just walked in without knocking to see a very naked River in front of me. I instantly closed my eyes and said my apologies.
"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry river!" His response was a laugh.
"I'm dressed. Not that it matters. You've already seen me naked and I you." I blushed at the memory from a few nights ago.
"Yeah and so did everyone else." His jaw clenched at my words and his eyes a dark shade of black. Oops, shouldn't have said that...
"Who saw you naked! I'll rip their heads off!" River yelled, barley able to control his fury. I coward away like a pup with her tail between her legs.
"Just when the people came to help. They saw us. You sent them away."
"We're there any boys?"
"No." I lied almost too quickly but not enough for him to catch on. I knew he wouldn't remember anyone else there but the three of us. He liked to block certain things out. He looked at me a bit suspicious but waved it off.
"Are you ready to go?" He asked and grabbed the sunscreen from me and put it in his bag.
"Yes. Let me just say goodbye to my parents." My parents had been extra cautious after they found out about Ryan the other day. They checked up on my frequently and wanted River to be next to me at all times. Well, my mother at least. She has forgiven River while I was away. He explained how bad he felt and she was puddy in his hands. My father on the other hand had his shot gun loaded. River wasn't very scared of this seeing that he was an alpha and my father was well...not. Easy as it may be to just ignore my father, River was dead set on a relationship with him. This pleased my father, but he didn't dare show it.
"Okay, hurry back," River said and tried to kiss my cheek. I moved quickly away from him and out the door. My wolf was fighting with me, as she has been since forever.
'Aria, really?' My wolf whined.
'We don't know if we can trust him yet.'
'Reasons why we can trust us. Reason one, he's out mate. Reason two, he's our mate. And reason three, HE'S OUR FREAKING MATE!'
'Are you going to give me some real reasons now? Because your argument isn't winning the trial.' My wolf growled at me.
'Fine, reason one, he came to help you when Ryan was trying to get us again. Reason two, he said the most heartfelt apology in the universe. And lastly, because you love him but can't bring yourself to admit it because you're too stubborn to see that we need him. Stop stringing him along. It makes you seem like the bad guy.' With that she blocked me off. I wanted to say that she was wrong. I wanted to deny everything she just said. But I couldn't do it because she was right. I did love River. I never stopped loving River and all of this denying was making it hard on me. But I had to hold on a little longer because I wanted to make sure he was everything he said he was. But I can't deny it to myself any longer.
I love River.
