I sat in the room for hours crying. What am I suppose to do? He thinks that I wanted to do that! He thinks it was a choice. He'd never believe me if I told him otherwise. I was just stuck. No one knew besides Ryan, River, and me...what if they tell the whole pack house! Oh no, what am I going to do. Earlier River stopped destroying his room. He was so mad at me. Do I go talk to him? Do I leave him alone? My wolf begged me to go talk to him.

"He'll understand! Just go talk to him. He's our mate!" She said

"He Is not our mate." I pointed out harshly. She whimpered.

" I'm sorry sweetie. I didn't mean to be so harsh." I said to her. She remained quiet. I knew I had hurt her feelings.

"Fine! We'll go talk to him!" I said. She howled in response and I laughed at her.

To say I was nervous was an understatement. I was about to puke and I had to drag my bolder-like legs along to his room. Step by step i made it to River's door. I took a deep breath in before I placed a quiet knock on his door.

"River?" I said with a soft voice. No answer. I knocked again .

"River, it's me, Aria." No answer. So instead of leaving like in wanted to, I opened up his door quietly. The cold air rushed to face and blew my hair back. I opened to door wider to see his baby room empty. He was gone. His window was open, letting the cold night air in. I had no doubt that he went on a run to calm down. Why he snuck out the window to do so was beyond me. He was the Alpha, he could do whatever he wanted.

"Go to him." My wolf said.

"He obviously wants to be alone." I countered.

"He'll see us, I know he will." She argued.

"Fine ! We'll go find River!" I said. She howled with happiness. So I went downstairs and left. The crisp air danced around me and ruffled the leaves. It was a good night for a run. I went behind a tree and stripped from my clothes. Then I shifted to my wolf. We automatically ran off. We caught on to his sent and chased it through the forest. I was loving the run until I saw him. His wolf was large and sitting next to the river. I slowed to a walking pace up to him. When he heard me he turned around to a fighting stance, but when he saw it was just me he turned around. I sat next to him. I bugged him and nodded my head towards home, he ignored me. Really, the silent treatment! Come on! I whimpered at him and he looked at me. I gave him my biggest eyes and he finally went with me. We ran together down the forest. I ran faster than him, but then again, I was also smaller. We made it to out clothes and we each his, shifted, and changed. We came out at the same time fully dressed.

"What do you want?" He asked me angrily.

" I want to talk." I said.

"Okay, talk." He said crossing his arms. I looked down at my hands that we're playing with my sleeves. It was time to tell him. I needed him to understand.

"I-it wasnt a choice." I said.

"What wasn't?" He asked.

"That night, with Ryan, he didn't give me choice." I said on a whisper. Rivers arms unfolded and his draw dropped.

"I-I told him to stop. But he wouldn't." I said and began to cry.

"You mean..." River said and h shook my head

"I'm going to kill him!" He yelled and began to stomp his way into the house,

"River, no!" I pledged and grabbed his arm. He didn't stop. Well, until we heard a noise coming from the bushes.

"What was that?" I asked curiously.

"Wolves."

"From our pack?"

"No."

"Maybe they're just lost."

"No Aria, I think they're here to fight."
