Aditya's Pov:
I found myself seated by Buvana's bed, her unconscious form the result of strong medication. As I gazed upon her face, an overwhelming wave of feelings washed over me. She appears small and adorable almost fragile. Gently, I leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead. It's been a week now and I feel more than okay.
Yet my spirit feels detached from my body, lingering where my Paru lies in this unconscious state. A tear rolled down my cheek as I thought of her.
I quickly made my way to Paru's room. Access is still restricted we can only view her through the door. Witnessing her in such a state brings tears to my eyes, which I quickly wiped away not wanting to reveal my vulnerable side to anyone. This moment is solely meant for my Paru.
I settled into a three-seater chair across from her parents who appeared exhausted as if they hadn't eaten in days. I promptly called Abhi asking him to bring some food. Within minutes, he arrived with a food parcel glancing at me uncertainly. I nodded in acknowledgment.
He then approached Deepa, who was casting a fierce glare in my direction. I covered my face with my hands hoping to ease the mounting tension and shut my eyes.
"Thud. " When I opened my eyes, I saw Deepa confronting Abhi shouting,
"What the hell are you both thinking, you bloody mafia brothers? "
"Deepa let's talk normally there's no need to shout," Abhi pleaded attempting to soothe her.
"Normal? What does that mean for you? Your brother literally caused my sister's death. He's the sole reason for Parvathi's current situation. Just for you, I've made sacrifices, and look where that has brought me" Deepa yelled at the top of her lungs repeatedly shoving Abhi's chest even as he tried to calm her down.
"I wish your mother had thought twice before bringing your brother into this world who is a womanizer and a rapi..." Before she could finish, Abhi struck her hard. She glared at him with wounded eyes. I knew he had never even raised his voice at her until this moment.
"Abhi, what are you doing? " I slapped him feeling compelled to intervene.
"Don't channel your anger by hitting her," I cautioned him turning to Deepa. who regarded Abhi with pain in her eyes, while he stood there with clenched jaws.
"Deepa, I recognize that all of this is my fault. Please forgive me," I said folding my hands in a gesture of apology. Her eyes widened in disbelief clearly not anticipating this response.
I then approached her parents, who sat silently with blank expressions. I knelt before them and touched their feet.
"I realize neither of you will pardon me. I forcefully wed her, and on our wedding day, she sobbed a great deal. In fact, she cried the entire night. Yet, my selfishness drove me I fell for her the moment I saw her in that rain. No one typically waits for a stranger in the rain, but she did. While staying at your home, she completely enchanted me. Initially, I never intended to coerce her into marrying me, but when the opportunity arose, I couldn't let it slip away." i gulped.
"Thus, I married her. My love for her is immense. She means everything to me she is my breath, my heartbeat, my vision. Everything revolves around her. I'm pleading with you once she regains her awareness, please don't separate us. I know she will always honor your words" Tears streamed down my face, and I fought hard to contain them.
Even in this chaotic moment, both of them avoided meeting my gaze. After wiping my tears, I approached Deepa, who was looking at me with an expression of guilt.
"I did not violate her. She loved me more than I loved her. That's why she allowed me to touch her" I stated as I prepared to leave the room.
"You realize my daughter may never be able to have children, right? What will you do? " her mother questioned me in a stern tone.
"I already have a child. She will be content with this choice. She doesn't need to know about her condition. I will ensure her happiness" I responded before stepping outside.
In the doctor's office:
"Mr. Adthiya, we have already informed you. Our blood bank is empty. You need to arrange for some from your side, or it could be very dangerous for her life. "
"NO! Not another word! " I retorted as I stepped outside. How dare he speak about my paru like that?
"Adthiya, what is the doctor saying? " Vikram inquired and even Seyit was present. These days, our conversations are few but we manage.
"How is Divya Bhabhi? " I asked.
"She is experiencing labor pains. I just admitted her," he replied with worry etched on his face.
"You should go to her now. I will manage this," I urged him.
"Bhabhi needs you. "
"No, Abhi and Deepa are there they will take care of it" he insisted.
"No, you need to go now" I persisted, and he eventually went.
"What's the issue?" Seyit asked, settling next to me.
"They need blood, and Paru's blood type is rare" I said, my voice heavy with despair. He handed me a piece of paper.
"Adthiya, here is the list of people with Paru blood. I found this when I was looking for blood for Rithika's treatment. This is a list of those with rare blood, and paru caught in my net at that time" he remarked with a slight smile. I shot him a glare.
"Shall I send my men to find any of those people?" he proposed.
No, I refuse to commit another sin, especially not in my life with Paru.
"No, Seyit. We will pursue this through lawful channels. I have faith that her God won't abandon her during this challenging phase of her life," I remarked with a slight smile. He nodded in agreement.
"How is Rithika? "
"How do you think she is? Learning about the deceit surrounding her life shattered her completely. She has secluded herself in her room and hasn't come out since. I feel immense pity for her. I knocked and urged her to open the door but she won't even acknowledge my presence," he expressed, his eyes glistening with tears.
"Is she. . . ? " I inquired hesitantly.
"No, no. Upon discovering that Vinoth is still alive, how could she consider ending her own life especially with a new life blossoming inside her? She's engulfed in guilt for having attempted to harm her own brothers. She's a resilient young woman," he replied.
"After all, she is Adhitya's sister. " As I said this, my eyes welled up.
"Will you forgive her, Adhitya? She's not acting out of her own accord. She's been poisoned by her upbringing, which has led her to be this way. "
"Why was I angry with my little sister, for whom I even bought a doll before her birth? But then everything is shattered. I truly yearn to be with my family my wife, my sister and brother, bhabhi, her soon-to-arrive child, my beloved Bhuvana, and our younger chaoctic pair Abhi and Deepa. And you too" He embraced me immediately.
"This is life, Adhitya. Yet we chase after illusions, squandering half our existence," he remarked as he let me go.
"I am eagerly anticipating the day when my Paru opens her eyes" I stated.
"She will" he assured.
"And where are Dev and Vinoth? I haven't seen either of them" I queried Seyit.
"I'm not sure Adhitya. Dev visited the hospital but when he spotted you in that state at the entrance, he didn't approach you and left. I haven't heard anything since" Seyit replied, lost in thought.
"Oh, I'll handle that" I said as I dialed Dev's number but the call wouldn't go through. This sparked an unusual sense of concern within me.
