Earthland – Emerald Altar

The emeralds' light shine brightly with a multicolored hue, lighting up the otherwise dead chamber. Wires dangle lifelessly from above and the ground is covered in a layer of warped metal and other debris.

The perspective then switches to show a large tube being thrown out of a large hole on the floor as Lamy climbs out wearing a blue mechanic coverall.

"I must say, this level of technology is far beyond anything I have ever seen. It is also as if it he made the imaginary into reality." Sigma remarks as he watches Lamy work.

The doors open and a mountain of equipment walks in. "I brought the equipment you asked for, senpai."

"Just set them to my right, 21." Lamy said.

21 quickly walks to Lamy's right and sets the equipment down. "I'm surprised none of this was damaged during the crash."

"That's because everything here was created through Asmodeus-sama's power. Any object he creates is far more durable than you'd find in the world." Lamy states with pride.

21 stares at the broken ceiling. "And yet, it still turned out like this."

"Everything has a limit. Even this place. Asmodeus-sama never designed the [Aincrad] to take that kind of punishment. It's a miracle we even made it out in one piece." Lamy raises her hand. "Pass me the thermal lance."

21 reaches into the mountain and pulls out what looks like a metal stick with a split end.

"Here you go, senpai." 21 gives the lance to Lamy as she jumps back into the hole.

"If I may Lamy, I would advice withholding engine repairs until we can restore the other sub systems." Sigma suggested.

21 kneels next to the hole as sparks fly followed by a buzzing noise.

"Senpai, I think Sigma has a point. Maybe we should focus on repairing the main anti-gravity drive." 21 pleads.

"Oh, I am certain. Besides, we need get the power back if we're to find Asmodeus-sama!" Lamy proudly states.

"But still... don't you think you should have more hands on deck? With Urahara-san occupied repairing Cerebro, it will take you much longer before we start seeing progress." 21 objects.

"... you may be right, but we don't have many options." Lamy admits before something catches her attention.

"Warning. Negative feedback-"

*Boom!*

An explosion sends Lamy flying out of the hole and lands on the metal floor hard.

"Senpai!" 21 rushes to her chief and pulls her up. "Are you alright!?"

"That did look extremely painful." Sigma said.

"I'm fine." Lamy raises her arm to reveal a burned circuit board. "This was part of the Tachyon Converter... now I need a new one."

"Are you sure you're okay?"
