Dark fell on the cave and Felix was free. The newly turned vampire, slowly maing his way out into the darkness, watching as the final dredges of sun fell away. At least sunset's were always pretty, Felix was pretty sure he was going to be seeing a lot of them now.

He wanted to go home, but at the same time he was struck with the realization that his mother wouldn't be there, that the only reason he would actually be able to enter the place was because all the living owners were dead. Including himself.

Felix's mind was clearer now, the visions of Damon dying, of Klaus, of Elijah being daggered had finally stopped, and his thirst while still present wasn't quite overwhelming enough for him to fear for the throats of every single human in town. At least he hoped it wasn't overwhelming enough. The thought of ripping into some townspeople though did strick a cord in him though, so he figured it might be best to not head into town any time soon. He felt shaky with a fever, with almost flu like symptoms as he made his way out, still remembering the burning of the sun before shaking away the memory. Shaking away the animalistic fear that it was still not dark enough.

He did not burn.

However, Felix did find himself standing on the outskirts of his home retching, throwing up nothing, but gaging all the same. He could taste the vervain in the air, burning his throat, forcing him to stumble away from the house, feeling burned.

Felix clothes itched along his skin as he moved away. He wanted to change desperately. He had died in these clothes, had held his mother in these clothes. He needed to go somewhere. He needed help. He did not want help.

Elena's blood had brought him to this state, she should have to deal with him, but her house was in town. He didn't want to see Damon, but she would have to be going to the Salvatore house at some point. He could wait for her. Or she could appear outside his house as he was thinking on what to do.

"Elena?" Felix heard his voice saying only to be met with a dark grin, and a stirring in his head that had him stumbling forward. Something in his blood urging him towards Elena's doppelganger. "Katherine."

"Hello, Felix. Seems like I somehow managed to make another vampire," she said, sounding too sad as she looked at him, "I guess I've killed another Rhodes. Ended your family line for real this time."

"We've met before," he said, flashes of meeting her throughout his childhood flashing through his mind, the compulsion worn away.

"We have." she said with a nod, "You just remind me of one of your ancestors. He was a good man. I got him killed, just like you."

"You didn't kill me. The Gilberts did," he said, ignoring the voice hissing Elena did. He didn't need that hate festering for his childhood friend, even if the monster in him preened at the idea of digging his teeth into the same girl whose blood created him.

"Still, it's my blood that turned you. I can feel you, it's the same with Caroline. I killed her, made her into something new, better." Felix bristled, "You should be my responsibility. Sadly I was told not to take you with me." She seemed perturbed, eyes glancing behind him, body tensing. "I have to go before he gets here. Survive, Felix."

"Wait-" Felix moved to go after her, frowning as she sped off, only for his senses to heighten again as he smelt something else, something new. The newly turned vampire couldn't tell if he liked the smell or if it repulsed him, his entire focus fixating on the strange sent in the air. He turned. Sebastian was standing on the driveway watching him with a frown.

"Oh, Felix," he said, taking a few steps towards the vampire, who still couldn't decide if he wanted to run from him or jump him. There was this sense of urgency in his brain, saying he needed to leave, that this being was more of a predator than he was. A hunter through and through. Felix took a step back.
