The ride back to home was stressful and sofocating, ruhanika knew this time Rishi was actually angry. And tension was high. She doesn't even know how to justify herself.

She knows what she did was wrong enough and guilt was eating her up.

Finally they were home, and after getting down. Rishi instructed ruhanika

"Change your clothes and sleep, i will talk to you tomorrow" after saying he went inside without even hearing ruhanika.

Tears gathered in her eyes, but she quietly went back to her room and sat down.

The tears that she was trying so hard to keep up finally started to flow down.

She was crying, even she doesn't know the reason but she is still crying and suddenly lightning striked. And ruhanika's breath hitched.

From childhood ruhanika has always been scared of thunderstorms

She usually starts to have panic attacks when thunderstorms starts.

Her breaths becomes unsteady as she tries to find her inhaler, but she couldn't find one.

Finally after searching for a while she found it and it reliefed the pain in her chest.

She sat down near bed, and started to take deep breaths. As she was now clam her head started ache. And without wasting a second she took a painkiller from the side drawer and ate it.

She was hell a tired with all the drama that happened, and without thinking twice she slept near her bed keeping her head near the dashboard.

10:00 in morning

Rishi woke up a little late, today. And he didn't even went to gym today as he wasn't feeling to.

Ritwik on the other side went his college, as Rishi said ruhanika won't come today. He didn't tell him anything but he will after his talk with ruhanika.

He has called ruhanika 2 times she isn't picking,

He decided to check on her, he went on her room as he peeked inside only to see ruhanika sleeping while keeping her head on dashboard of her bed.

He sighed and went to wake her up but also noticed the painkillers and the dired tears.

"Ruhanika wake up comeon" he said and ruhanika woke up,

Her eyes flattered a little trying to adjust with the light as she sat up, she saw Rishi and her eyes widened.

She looked at the watch and it was already past 10, which was too late for her.

Rishi sighed, and said "have a bath then come to study okay?" And ruhanika nodded

Ruhanika waked in the washroom and decided to have a good cold bath for the day.

Then finally after a bath she did her after shower routine and wore her night suit since she was not in a mood to wear something fancy and get ready.

She walked downstairs, and saw no one.

She asked the house help aunty for a juice. She was not in a mood to have her breakfast so she opted for a safest option.

Finally after having her juice, she decided to walk in the study.

As she walked upstairs her steps echoed to much, louder than one another. The uneasy feeling settling in her chest way to much to ignore, she was anxious and guilty not because of the fear but because of the disappointment she had cause for Rishi. Her very own brother.

She knew she made mistake by choosing to get under peer pressure, but now she need face whether it's punishment or words.

She finally knocked the door, the voice of knocking echoed in the hallway.

Hearing a faint come in she walked in dragging her feet, with tension on her mind.

The room was silent Rishi sitting on the chair with laptop to focused to be distributed, there lied pages scattered, the sound of clock could be heard and so was the typing sound.

Rishi finally looked up, looking directly to ruhanika. Keeping his laptop aside he finally leaned in chair saying,

"So ruhanika try to explain what were you doing there in the party. Pretty much I know dhawal bhai didn't permitted you to do that things right? So give me your reason and no lies ruhanika"

And ruhanika looked down bitting her lips finding voice to speak and finally spoke.

"Bhai, they- they were forcing me to much saying one time wont harm and they were even saying I am so coward. And I came in the pressure and thought one time wont harm"

As she finished her voice became low till the end a indication of her regret, Rishi clenched his jaw before saying.

"Seriously ruhanika? I thought you were smarter, you let them decide your choices? You came in pressure how? I understand there are many people who try to do it but ruhanika you aren't dumb to gave in the pressure. Indeed one time wont harm but I will in future"

"I am sorry bhai I won't do from next time but please don't be disappointed from me" ruhanika said having tears in her eyes.

And Rishi sighed,

"I know ruhi, that wasn't your intention but you should never give up even if the whole world is pressurizing you. If you give up this time they will try once again and that will become a habit for them, and that is scary. Never give the power of your choices you decisions to other"

Ruhanika nodded mumbling some more sorry. And Rishi said again

"But things need consequences so thus you will get a punishment. And I will tell it to bhai and manvik after they come but don't worry they won't punish you"

Ruhanika not having a heart to nodd still nodded,

Rishi stood up and brought the wooden ruler, a light punishment for ruhanika because for him anyone needs to face consequences for a mistake.

"10 hits on each hand" he said and ruhanika without any argument extended her hand,

The hits were mild but still painful, tears started to flowed from her eyes.

Finally after some minutes punishment was over and Rishi hugged ruhanika the urge he was controlling for too long

"Don't do that again ruhi it scares me, and you are grounded for 2 weeks" he said ruhanika sniffed in response and Rishi chuckled.
