One can never be truly happy alone. No matter what they say, no mater what they do, and no matter what they believe, everyone needs a someone. Someones can come in all different varieties, but no matter how different or similar you are, you know that they're you're someone. Charlie knew she found her someone. She knew he was always going to love her. She knew she was always going to love him. She had eyes for no one else. She liked her name when he said it. She felt beautiful because of the way he looked at her. It seemed as if somewhere in her messed up, twisted, upside down life that was filled to the brim with mistakes and regrets that she did something right. How else could she possibly deserve it? Or maybe she didn't. Maybe she didn't have to deserve it. Maybe it was gift. Whatever it was, it was the best thing that has ever happened to her. She changed. She changed in a way she never thought possible. All because of the simplest thing. The thing she promised she would never do. Her heart whispered to her more than once in a blue moon now. And she listened. She listened and she followed because that "one mistake" guided her down a rocky road leading to paradise. She fell in love. She got hurt. So did the ones around her. But it was worth it. He was hers forever. She unlocked him. And her gave her the key. Happily ever after? Maybe. She just had to wait and see.
