1: New house

Kayla's P.O.V

I walk into my new home. I look around and kinda smile. "I like it." I say and my parents smile. I grew this love for music and singing over the summer.

My parents don't know of course. They don't pay much attention to me like they used too. I feel like I have no parents. Tomorrow is Monday. That means school. Yay. (Note the sarcasm)

I go to university high school. Lots of people say bad things about high school but it's not that bad. Take it from me, cause I'm a freshman.

'Ding'

My phone beeps and I look at it. It was a text from my best friend, Jessica. We've been best friends forever.

I'm so excited! I'm gonna be there soon.

My texts read and Iaughed a little. I click the call button and call her.

"Hello?"

"Jessie!"

"Kay Kay!"

"I'm so fruit looping excited!"

"Me too. I can't wait to help you decorate that room cause girl we both know your waiting for me to come."

"Well, when your parents are never home it's hard doing things on your own."

We both laugh and talk for hours about the things were gonna do. "Kayla!" My mother calls out. "Hold on, one sec Jess. Yeah?" I holler back. "Come down. We have a surprise for you."

I sigh and put the phone back to my ear.

"I'll call you back."

"Okay."

I then hang up and run down the stairs. Half way down my eyes widen and I look at the one and only, "Jessica!" I exclaim running down the rest of the stairs and hugging her tight.

"One more surprise." Jessica says pulling me out my new house. She points right next door to it. "My house." My eyes widen.

I've never been to her house before so I didn't know she lived right next door. We've only hung out at places and sometimes at my old house.

"No way!" I yell. "Yep!" We both jump around, squealing.

The next morning I wake up and walk to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and wash my face. Once I'm done there I let my natural wavy curls fall from my pony tail. I love my hair!

I look threw my closet and decide to wear light washed ripped jeans with my 'don't care never did' crop top. Its not that cropped. It doesn't sho my belly button, so it's kinda longer then others.

I connect my phone to the speaker and play my music on shuffle. First song that plays is Slow Motion by Trey Songz. I start dancing around as I put my clothes on. I then throw on my lo black converse.

I put on my white diamond snap back and grab my penny board. Cheerleader By OMI then comes on and I smile and start to sing along.

I grab my backpack and run downstairs still jamming out to the song. Jessica then comes walking in and she starts dancing too. We each grab an apple and head to school.
