! OUTER BANKS !
(season 1, episode 3)
part two

LATER THAT AFTERNOON, Lynni received a call from the one and only Estelle Beckett. "Love, please come, it will be worth it." Elle begged from the other line. "One night out with me and we'll have a good time."

"You mean I'll be babysitting your drunk ass." Lynni corrected the girl. Lynni knew that going to Topper's house party was not a good idea but she also didn't want to leave Estelle unattended.

"No, I promise." Estelle said sympathetically. Lynni let out a huff and rolled her eyes. "Just you and me enjoying a night together with some friends."

"Topper is not my friend." Lynni stated, emphasizing the word 'not'. "He's a polo boy and I don't like him."

Elle chuckled because it was true. Topper was a preppy, rich, punk who thought everything should be handed to him on a silver platter all because his grandfather was the mayor of the OBX. It was silent for a moment before Lynni gave in. "Fine, I'll go."

"Yes—" Elle said with excitement fist-punching the air.

"But I swear to God Elle, if I have to babysit you I'm taking you home and I'm never going to a party with you again." Lynnianna interrupted her friends celebration.

"Deal." Estelle said nodding her head. Lynni couldn't see it, but Elle had a devilish smirk plastered across her face. "The party starts in one hour so you better be ready."

"Okay." Lynni answered before ending the call. She flopped on her back, eyes glued to the ceiling as an annoyed groan left her lips. Lynni got up, slightly changing her outfit. She kept the bathing suit on (because she knew Topper's house had a pool and who knows what could happen with that), kept the shorts but changed her shirt to a tight-ish white tank top. Her hair and jewelry stayed the same and so did her shoes.

Out of nowhere, Paris barged into her room unannounced. "Lynnianna." She said and Lynni turned to look at Paris with raised eyebrows. She went to go speak again before noticing that her sister was getting ready for something. "Wait—where are you going?"

"I'm staying at Sarah's tonight." Lynni informed while touching up her make-up. As the girl applied her waterproof mascara, she could see Paris looking at her through her vanity mirror. "What?"
