Lynnianna Keating.
That name to most means royalty. But to her it meant nothing. Lynni hated the way she was. Being a Kook was torture. Fancy parties, big houses. Not her forte. So, how does a Kook change the way her life is? She befriends a pogue...

! OUTER BANKS ! (season 1, episode 6) part three
THE SUNLIGHT WAS JUST STARTING TO SLIP in through the old blinds of the Chateau, cutting slanted shadows across the faded couch where Lynni had crashed the night before. The house smelled like salt and old wood, and faintly of some food Pope had brought over from Heyward's the night before. It was early—too early for anyone but John B to already be up, moving around in the kitchen, clinking a spoon against a coffee mug.
Lynni blinked the sleep out of her eyes, still curled in a blanket that barely reached her toes, and sat up slowly, brushing hair out of her face. The house was quiet besides the occasional creak of the floorboards and the far-off sound of gulls somewhere over the marsh. She could already feel the heat starting to build, sticky and heavy in the air.
"You're up," John B said, glancing over his shoulder with that half-grin he always had when something was brewing. "Good. We've got work to do."
Lynni dragged herself off the couch and padded barefoot into the kitchen. "You sure this is gonna work?" She mumbled, reaching for the mug he handed her.
He nodded, serious now. "If they're stuck on a boat, they have to talk. No distractions. No storming off. Just...us, water, and enough time."
"And by us, you mean me," She shot back, giving him a look over the rim of her coffee.
"You're the glue, Keating," he said, already tossing stuff into a duffle—snacks, sunscreen, and a little black box. "Sarah trusts you. Kiara trusts you. You're the only one they'll both listen to."
Lynni sighed, dragging her hand through her messy waves. "Fine. But if someone ends up over board, I'm not jumping in after them."
He grinned again. "That's the spirit."
They moved fast after that—John B loaded the cooler with water bottles and whatever was left in the fridge, Lynni pulling on a bikini and one of John B's oversized shirts she found tucked in a laundry basket. JJ was supposed to be waiting at the marina, ready to follow the first boat out. And Pope? He was going to be picking up Kiara after step one was completed.
