! OUTER BANKS !
(season 1, episode 2)
part one

IT WAS WERID. Lynnianna sat on the couch of the Chateau with one thing on her mind. Rafe Cameron. Why? She didn't know, but she was thinking about him. She thought about the way he looked at her, talked to her, and the way he grabbed her wrist. The entire situation sounded so full of rage, and it felt so rough. Rafe always had a way of manipulating Lynni into thinking that this was the way you are supposed to love. You're allowed to get mad unless you make an apology that you don't really mean and give your girlfriend a soft, sweet kiss to distract her from all the physical and mental pain you inflict upon her.

Rafe was a very insecure boy to begin with but being with a girl like Lynni seemed to intensify every single issues he had. She was a beautiful girl that every guy wanted and that any guy would do anything for to keep, so whenever he felt threatened by another guy who talked to Lynni—which was any guy—he would be beating his face in seconds. In the beginning, Lynni thought that his overprotectiveness was sweet and charming, and it meant that he cared about her but too much of the same thing over and over is never good. Soon, Lynni started to hate the feeling that she got in the pit of her stomach when she watched Rafe grab some random guy and started to pummel him in the face for even looking at Lynni. She knew that she loved Rafe, she always would in some way but at what point is enough, enough? At what point do you walk away from someone you love but you know it's wrong. She couldn't walk away now though; she was in too deep. It was far too late. Rafe Cameron was a toothache that leaves and comes back ten times more painful. "Hey." A voice broke her train of thoughts, pulling her back into reality.

It was now night, and Lynni had Pope addressing her wound. Before Pope had put a few stitches in her arm, Lynni made sure he thoroughly cleaned and sanitized the needle and her arm. The stitches didn't hurt as badly as she would've thought but that could also be because of the whiskey shots JJ made her take beforehand.

After Pope was finally finished, he wrapped her arm with some gauze then wrapping that with some vets wrap and Lynni could hear the boys talking out on the porch. Kiara had been walking around the house, lighting candles because there was no power due to the hurricane when she saw Lynni staring at the wall in front of her. When Lynni realized it was Kiara talking to her, Lynni looked up and her face softened slightly. "Hey." she responded in a soft tone. She faced away from her and Kiara felt like she was being given the cold shoulder.
