PS. IN CASE YOU WERE CONFUSED, MICAELA IS PRONOUNCED LIKE MEE-KY-LUH {AND SHE IS ALSO REFERRED TO AS CAE (KY)}

"alright. now dear, i know you've been away for a while, but i trust that you still understand your ettiquite?" my mother asks politley, escorting me down the hall.

"what you mean manners? hows this for some freakin' ettiquite?" i ask slyly, hopping up on my feet and shattering a pillar in two with my foot.

"Catilliana Ninette!" she screeches and i just keep walking down the corridor toward the palace.

"you know what i miss about Panem?" i ask.

"nothing. you couldnt possibly have enjoyed that horrid place." she scoffs

"exactly. as much as they controlled every aspect of my life, they still weren't as bad as you." i say. "you let my father die, you let me get taken, and you let my little sister turn into a complete bitch!" i shout.

"you know i loved your father very much." she says with tears in the corners of her eyes.

"sure." i say. "i bet anyone could find a way to love someone with that much money. how long did it take for him to finally give in?" i press. "how long were you throwing yourself at him?"

she looks terribly hurt but i dont care.

"well then i guess its like mother like daughter. i picked a wonderful man for you to marry, and still you go off and thrust yourself at some creature of those terrible Districts." she says. "you should be ashamed."

"at least i actually love him. oh and in case you were wondering, i got my full memory back. but thats only because ill be dead cold in a weeks time." i sneer before turning in th other direction and not looking back at the vile woman.

"what do you mean they're going to kill you?" Peeta asks breaking away for a second.

"i mean, why else would they just give up on the whole operation?" i say. "they were pretty sucessful in screwing the fuck out of my brain, why stop now?" i take a deep breath and move my feet so i can look right at him. "they're planning something. something so big that it takes them having to stop all other maneuvers to accomplish. whatever they're doing, its bad. very very bad. and im not sure if theres anything we can do to stop it."

"cant they just remove the transmitter from your head? i mean how hard would it be? they slit your neck to put it in, they can slit your neck to take it out." he says.

"it doesnt work like that Peeta." i correct. "its litterally implanted. so to get it out, you would either have to mess up my cells by pushing them out of the way- which could cause severe brain damage or death- or you would have to rip out whatever part of the brain the transmitter is clinging on to." i explain, wincing at the thought of tearing apart my head.

"then maybe they could just deactivate it." he suggests.

"no. even if you could shut it down, Snow's controlling it and can just turn it on again. i dont think theres any escaping it. either way it ends badly for us."

"Miss, your sister wants to see you."

"merci, Monsieur Andre." i say giving Peeta that 'help me' look as i stand up. "if im not back in 20 minutes, save yourself." i say dramatically and slip out the door and into the common lounge.

"okay, what the hell!" she screams at me.

"Cae, what are you talking about?" i ask rolling my eyes.
