Peeta practrically lives here now, but does his baking and painting in his house, but whenever hes there, i am too.
"do you think they're announcing the Quell rules?" Prim asks.
"i dont know, either way it will be miserable." i say.
"i dont know. maybe we can bring someone home this year." Peeta says shrugging and playing with the tail of my braid.
"i guess so. i wonder what stupid horrible twist they'll use this year?" i say
"looks like we're about to find out." Amy says.
President Snow appears on his balcony with a small boy.
Snow takes an envelope out of the box the boy is holding labled with a 75.
"On the 25th anniversary, to prove that the odds may not be in your favor, tributes were voted for by their peers. on the 50th year to remind us all of the 24 tributes, double the ammount were reaped. " he begins.
"for the 75th annual Hunger Games, The 3rd Quarter Quell, to show that not even the strongest of us all can overcome the power of the Capitol, the 24 tributes.....will be reaped....from the current pool of Victors!" he announces.
