Izuku welcomed his beloved family – yes including the parents – into the building that he'd put a lot of effort into designing to make it feel much more like a home considering they'd be living there for the next three years, even if it was a huge building. It opened right into the entryway that held shoe and coat racks for their belongings. Shoes were kicked off, so everyone was now in socks as they didn't have house slippers just yet, but that was fine. Now that they were in, the vast group let out audible gasps of awe upon what they saw. It was obvious that this was no 'mere project' and clearly a work of art for the Ragtags to be comfortable and a spot to call their own. It was rather large inside, almost an optical illusion when you look at it from outside.
Right in front of them, dominating the centre of the vast space, was a grand wooden staircase with a gorgeous hand-crafted dark mahogany twisted ivy banister that led to the upper floor, showing a surrounding gap that had the same ivy design as the banister to stop anyone from toppling over, as well as showed a few oak doors that led to bedrooms, but only like, four that they could see for now. The ceiling had to be at least ten feet high, with battered stained beams that appeared like they were from trees sawn in half, dotted with spotlights. The walls were painted a slate grey, with mahogany trim. The floor was done in oak, gleaming with polish, and ran the length of the house. It made it seem even bigger than it already was, as well as airy. Opposite the racks, sat a door that a curious Kaminari opened to reveal a simple toilet and sink, painted white walls with oak flooring.
"Come on, I'll show you all the rest. I've already sorted nearly everything. Bedrooms have the standard stuff, but I've not decorated those, as I figured you can do that yourselves." He announced, removing his fabric mask as they were in private company now and they'd all seen his face anyway. He saw Eijiro staring at him with a soft smile and near heart blown eyes, and without hesitation, leant over and pressed a firm kiss to his precious lovers' lips, which was very happily reciprocated, despite being surrounded by their loved ones, who in turn just smiled seeing that happen.
"I love you." Eiji whispered softly as they separated.
"I love you too baby." That got him a blinding smile in return.
"Yes, let's see what you've done please." Akane, Momo's mother, said. Beside the staircase, was a double set of oak doors that he motioned them too.
"That's the lounge. Against the back wall that you see, you've got the kitchen on the right, and dining room on the left. Both of those rooms do join though with an open wall/rounded doorway which is easier during mealtimes. To my left, we've got the study room too." He announced and led them to the lounge. Upon entering, everyone let out more gasps of clear amazement at what was revealed. Izuku caught Rhyki's gaze, and she was clearly impressed as she also removed her mask. The siblings didn't miss the way their group and parents all smiled at seeing them unmask, meaning they were comfortable around them enough for that to happen.
"You've took ideas from what we had all spoken about previously during one of our many random conversations, didn't you?" She questioned.
"I did, yes."
"Nice bro." He watched as they peered around, fingers lightly skimming over things. He took it all in like he was also seeing it for the first time too. Ten ft high ceilings with beams like in the entryway, so no chance of tall people banging their heads (i.e., him). Walls painted a warm, rustic red with one of old brickwork along with a log fuelled fireplace that dominated its space that was about 5ft high and 5ft wide and had a sturdy iron gate surrounding it for safety. That would be remarkable in the winter months, guaranteed! Above that, hanging on the wall, was a good 70-inch high-tech TV with a Sky+ box and Playstation5 on the thick mantel piece that certainly got the gamers excited.
Speakers were placed in each corner of the ceiling, which meant there was a surround sound system installed. Facing it, there were two overstuffed dark red leather couches that could easily hold six people comfortably, along with matching four large individual armchairs, all in an arch so you could see the TV easily and the occupant would not get a neckache. They had puffy black cushions to lean into, or hug if watching a movie. In the middle was a long coffee table of deep mahogany with black mats for drinks. In the center of that were three black candles tied together with a red ribbon for decoration. There are also the usual drawers and stuff to make it a home which Izuku knew would soon be full of useless shit mixed with important things, which genuinely would not surprise him.
