Kirishima was with his Ragtag family, guarded by Present Mic in a secure room at UA. It was a nice space, with the reddish-brown walls glowing slightly from well-placed lights, creating a calming atmosphere, if the situation was more applicable that right now. In a sort of semi-circle, were four, large, comfortable black fabric couches they could relax on, which they took full advantage of, and their gazes were locked entirely on the TV showcasing the news as they wanted to follow what happened to their beloved leader and co-leader in this horrendous fight. He, along with everyone else, cheered upon seeing their family members be rescued pretty much effortlessly by the team of Pyro and Mirko and swiftly loaded into ambulances and taken away from the area.
"Oh, thank god they're safe!" Kaminari cheered.
"That's our badass co-leader for you." Mina praised, smiling as she watched her best friend in action. They hadn't truly seen Rhyki in that way yet, and seeing it was remarkable. She was level-headed, quick and agile, yet clearly strong, it was awesome. Everyone else agreed instantly with the pinkette. Kirishima too let out an excited cheer with clear relief upon seeing his mum, sister and the others swiftly taken from that horrendous place, albeit a little dirty, but thankfully unharmed.
"Is it just me, or do those two work incredibly well together?" Shinso uttered as he watched Pyro and Mirko's teamwork.
"No, it isn't just you. It's remarkable seeing them work like that, considering they've never worked together before. Or at least, to my recollection anyway." Mic answered, his pale green orbs locked onto the screen. Forwarding through the fight, barely anyone spoke, and Kirishima was gripping the armrest, utterly terrified of this entire thing. He watched as his beloved boyfriend threw precise punches in a heated fight with the monstrous man in black. Even through the screen, he could tell that man was the true leader of villains, as well as downright terrifying. Wait, was that the man that he was supposedly meant to fight, upon taking over from All Might with One For All? Now he understood perfectly as to why Izuku was so against it. If that man could withstand Izuku's punches, which were no laughing matter, then what would his have been compared to? Izuku's = battering ram. Kirishima's = soft as a feather. No damn comparison, even if he could punch relatively well. He wanted this over with as soon as possible.
"Why isn't All Might helping more? Surely the number one hero would help more." Jiro questioned, peering over at Present Mic for the answer. Hell, all of them did.
"I understand what you're saying listener, but during the meeting before this all started to sort out who was going etc, Izuku had flat out warned and told All Might to not get in the way, as he'd just be a liability that isn't needed. All Might was tasked instead to get anyone out that wasn't meant to be there." Mic informed them.
"That sounds exactly like something Izuku would do. I'd have loved to have fucking seen All Might's face at that." Bakugou cackled, making others snicker in agreement. Despite the situation, Momo handed everyone drinks and some light snacks. Now Kirishima understood exactly why Rhyki had nicknamed her the mother of their family group.
All of their little roles were fitting, which had made them laugh a lot upon deciding it and it was all in fun, yet he knew they were right. Izuku was the leader, protector and their shield. Rhyki was his right hand, co-leader and their sword (due to how protective she was and first to defend them on pretty much anything). Kirishima and Bakugou were the defence and battering rams. Momo was the mother mixed strategist. Jiro was their musician. Sero and Shinso were the quiet yet protective ones. Mina was the bubbly, outgoing one, who was also great at distractions to let the other team members come in, guns blazing so to speak. Kaminari, without a doubt was their precious baby; powerful yet loving baby. It wasn't an insult to the guy, considering when he wasn't in training, he was an absolute beautiful bean who loved to joke around, play etc.
Kirishima glanced at the electricity user, who was curled up like a cat in Shinso's lap, golden orbs locked firmly on the screen as he shrunk deeper into his oversized hoodie, which also happened to belong to Izuku. Hell, all of them wore one as they were handed over to them by Nezu. No one questioned where the chimera had gotten them from, but they were utterly grateful for it, that's for sure. He most certainly was as he buried his nose into the front of the black hoodie he wore, dragging in that intoxicating scent that was wholly Izuku. The scent was a blend of sandalwood, faint leather, and a dash of vanilla, yet mixed in with raw power that he couldn't describe properly. It was a heady concoction that wrapped around him, and made Kirishima feel safe. It was mouthwatering yet felt like home.
