A few weeks had flown by as everyone contently settled into their new place and found their footing with each other. The Ragtags had no issues with this and the way they melded seamlessly, it was like the group had been living together for years, instead of a month. The previous day, they'd had their few friends from 1B visit, who were openly jealous yet in sheer awe at the building, which was far larger than they had expected from looking at it from the front, but that's because it expanded more backwards instead of sideways, but either way, it was a plush home and already had traits of each individual living there scattered downstairs, but in a way that it wasn't a mess, or even tacky looking.
In fact, majority of it had been left alone, leaving it to how Izuku had already organised the place as the group liked it that way, but by the front door, in the new large solid oak shoe rack that Izuku and Katsuki had built together (the other one was only a cheap plastic thing that Present Mic happily took for his own room), held the group's main shoes in a slot each, along with house slippers, with a thick padding for a built in seat to help better, each box was backdropped in their respective colour to just make it a bit easier, although there was no mistaking some of the shoes. Like Jiro's tiny ones, only being a size two, up to Izuku's monstrous size fourteens. Any other footwear the group had was kept in their bedrooms. In the kitchen, by the kettle, in a neat row, in a splash of rainbow colours that actually went with the countertop, sat their mugs with names etched perfectly into the porcelain which Momo had created as a moving in present.
On the wall nearby, was a large blackboard with names on, with what chores they do spread out over the week to maintain their part of living as one large group and in order to keep the home clean, which honestly worked. It wasn't loads, like Momo dusted, Shinso did the sweeping, Jiro and Kaminari mopped (one upstairs and the other downstairs) and Katsuki done the laundry etc. It was obvious that Izuku's main job was the cooking, but that was also going to be split with the feisty blonde, who also liked to do that now and again. Of course, the bedroom cleanliness was down to the specific room occupants, as that was only fair. The lounge now had a large canvas hanging on one of the previously blank walls, centred perfectly. It had been taken in Momo's garden last week, on the Saturday afternoon, to celebrate her mother's birthday, all in nice attire, of the entire group, with zero masks and giant smiles, along with the parents too (yes including Aizawa who wore proper trousers and a crisp white shirt), which was fantastic.
Izuku had gotten that printed in TG, along with copies for the parents that he'd personally delivered to on Sunday just gone. Scattered around that, on either polaroids or whatnot, were random photos that had been taken throughout from the start of the year already and pinned in place. It was little bits like that, that made the place become their home. It was now Wednesday morning, they'd been back to school for two days, and the group was shuffling out of their rooms, dressed and ready for breakfast. The only ones missing were Izuku and Mina. Now Rhyki remembered why the pinkette wasn't vaulting out her room this morning like the pink missile she was, and that's because it was her turn to learn how to cook with their leader.
"Morning Rhy-nii." Kami mumbled, rubbing his eyes before giving her a sleepy smile.
"Morning giggle bug." She pressed a swift kiss to the top of his head, as that seemed to have become a usual thing with them now, but neither complained and their boyfriends didn't care on that either, knowing full well that it was purely platonic, and it was pure instinct to do it now.
They headed downstairs, and that's when they heard quiet music playing and pure laughter. Entering the kitchen, Rhyki smirked at what she saw. Mina was with Izuku, making breakfast, both of them were singing and dancing slightly while dishing up whatever they'd cooked, which smelt downright fucking amazing and made mouths water in anticipation. No surprise as it was Izuku's godly cooking, but she had no idea what it was but couldn't care less. Rhyki liked that her brother made foods from around the world and not the usual Japanese stuff.
"Morning big bro and mi amore!" Sero piped up, making the duo peer over.
"Morning baby!" Mina smiled brightly, before bounding over in a few hops as that female never seemed to truly walk and gave her boyfriend a sweet kiss which was happily reciprocated.
"Morning everyone. Go to the dining room and we'll bring the food and drinks through in a few." Izuku directed, using a spatula to absentmindedly point, as he quickly became distracted by Kirishima pulling him in for his own morning kiss.
