A few weeks had gone by that the first years had started their work studies, which had been extended to be a month long this time instead of two weeks, and the Ragtags (minus Izuku and Rhyki for obvious reasons) absorbed the information, skills, and such that was thrown at them like sponges. They weren't taking this lightly either. It certainly impressed their mentors with how much they retained and took on board. Some had even questioned how they'd gotten so proficient on their quirkless combat as well as how well they utilised their quirks, as it was obvious that it wasn't all from the training given to them at UA, and they'd proudly admitted that the leader of their family group and the strongest of them all, had started training them after the whole USJ incident at the beginning of the year.

Even Kaminari kept the information retained that he was given, but that was also because it was given verbally instead of written down, as advised by the paper that he'd handed over to his work study mentor which had been written by Izuku to give extra help, and signed off by Aizawa and Nezu. Actually, Izuku had done that for nearly all of them, and they were thankful for it, because it also presented their strongest and weakest points that the heroes could help them work on. Obviously, the group had accepted the help. Sure, it wasn't as informative or great as when Izuku and Rhyki trained them, but they weren't going to say no to other help they were offered to become better heroes.

As for Kirishima, his had gone slightly differently than everyone else's for the first five days, when Nighteye had eventually spoken to him privately and stated that he didn't believe that he was the right choice to have One For All and he should pass it over to someone else who was much more worthy. After the elder had displayed that Kirishima had remembered what Izuku had divulged about standing up for himself more otherwise they'd try and walk all over him due to his people pleaser mentality and had snapped at the old sidekick of All Might.

"I don't remember asking or even seeking out on who you think is entitled to the quirk or not. As for who All Might chose to give it too is completely irrelevant on your opinion or choice, considering you've been separated from working with the man for over five years now, therefore you have zero say on the quirk passing or not and it isn't even yours to decide who it goes to, so it's irrelevant anyway. Before you say anything, just know that All Might will tell you to mind your own business and should I tell my boyfriend about this conversation, you'll be utterly destroyed. I am not threatening that either Nighteye, but it's a genuine promise. Should you need to know who my boyfriend is, all I am telling you is that he is a major underground pro hero who answers to no one but Mr. Baines from the W.H.A, and even that's rare he listens to the man. He is also far stronger than All Might was in his prime, and ridiculously dangerous too, so keep that in mind." Kirishima snorted to himself as he recalled his statement to the hero training him as he headed downstairs from changing into his hero gear.

Not that he had been doing much, but now he was actually helping him after almost a week of the man watching as Kirishima took it upon himself to train in the gym provided. Maybe it had been because of the wax sealed envelope he'd passed over from Izuku that had made the pro heroes eyes widen and actual fear bleed into them to start actually doing his job, but he wasn't complaining. At least it wasn't going to be a waste of his time or learning experience anymore. He remembered just how pissed Izuku had become when he'd finally admitted it one night that Nighteye hadn't done anything to help after having enough of just being stared at or criticized, and what had even been said in regards of OFA, which had made him incredibly upset. He'd been given the small envelope after going to grab a quick drink from the kitchen before they settled in for the night and was requested to pass it straight to Nighteye and only him.

He wasn't going to say no but was extremely curious as to what had written. The only thing Izuku had done when he'd queried about it, was give that downright devious smirk that made his insides tingle, then distracted him by pinning him to the wall and kissing him breathless and then they'd ended up in bed, tangled in naked limbs, followed by breathless moans, groans and him scratching the fuck out of Izuku's back. No, he was not complaining about any of that, but that's not the damn point.
"Yo, Riot, are you ready to head out?" He turned at the call, and saw none other than Lemillion, or Mirio Togata, waiting for him. The blonde always worked under Sir Nighteye and wasn't too bad to talk to, even if he's ridiculously smiley and joking most of the time and seemed to be impersonating as a younger version of All Might, which was frankly stupid.
