It has been a couple days since that night and you did get to meet Karkat's asshole friends.

It was lunch when you first met, Karkat had invited you to eat with them. You followed him to a large table in the corner of the room.

"Hey." Said Karkat as he sat down, you took the seat next to him. Next to you was a tall, skinny kid. His hair was in tangles and he wore face paint.

He look over to you, a lazy stoner-like smile on his face.

"Hey bro, who's this motherfucker?" Said the boy.

"This is (y/n) a friend of mine, (y/n) mr.high-as-a-kite fuckass is gamzee." Growled Karkat.

You offered your hand for Gamzee to shake-assuming he would take it. Instead he wrapped his arms around you, hugging you, and almost lifting you out of your seat.

After he was done he turned to his food, a weird pie-thing and a bottle of faygo. You were a bit shaken up by this greeting and turned to Karkat who rolled his eyes.

"KK, wath thith the girl you were talking about? The one you found beat up in the parking lot." Asked someone else. You recognized his voice from the parking lot.

Everyone at the table turn their attention to you as the guy said this. You suddenly felt very self conscious.

"Yes, Sollux, let's not talk about that.." Said Karkat voice full of concern.

"Is someone embarrassed to talk about how he met his girlfriend?" Snickered a female voice from the end of the table.

"SHUT THE HELL UP VRISKA, SHES NOT MY GIRLFRIEND" yelled Karkat causing the girl to giggle.

"Karkat, you should introduce her to us, she looks a bit overwhelmed." Stated a girl in front of him.

"Ugh, fine. Here," karkat pointed at the first girl " this is Feferi." Feferi had long brown hair and wore pink glasses. She had many necklaces around her neck.

Next he pointed to the boy next to her. He had brown hair, a little bit lighter than Feferi's, with a purple streak down the middle. He had a striped scarf on and wore hipster glasses. "Eridan" was his name.

Next to him was a skinny nerdy looking guy. He had what looked like 3d glasses on and he had black hair. This was Sollux.

"Aradia, Kanaya, Terezi, Vriska, nepeta, Equis, Tavros, john, jade, Dave, and then rose."

They all smiled at you warmly. You looked at your hands, feeling very awkward.

"Now that that's out of the way, (y/n) why you tell us what exactly happened that night." Said a girl you remembered as Terezi.

So you told them, starting from your encounter with Kristina then with Karkat. As you told them that you had laid in the parking lot for hours Kanaya asked something that made you freeze up.

"Why didn't you get up?" She asked.

"I.......I guess because I wanted to die there." You said, unusually, cheery-like.

It became dead silence for what seemed like 2 or 3 minutes.

"Don't be afraid, I'm not going to off myself! Before I didn't really have any friends... Now I have Karkat!" You laughed nervously, not meaning a single word.

Karkat looked over to you, complete shock on his face. You could tell he didn't buy it.

The bell rang and you got up, getting your stuff and walking away.

Leaving the group staring after you.

-TIME SKIP THANKS TO MOTHERFUCKING DAVE STRIDER-

It's was after school and Karkat wasn't with you. Apparently he had gotten held back in class for mouthing off a teacher, again.

"Where's your precious little knight in shiny armor now, you pathetic little shit?" Said Kristina as she grabbed your collar.

You didn't respond. She punched,you took the hit. She kicked, you held back a sob.

So here you were again. On the parking lot with fresh injuries. You would probably have laughed at how pathetic and worthless you were, if it didn't hurt so much.

Kristina stood up, smiling
triumphantly. She took one last look and stomped down on your shoulder.

You screamed, pain shooting throughout your body. Oh how you wanted to die so badly,  only if you could just wither away into nothing, maybe it would better for Karkat, your enough of a burden alre-

"(Y/N)!"

You looked up to see none other than Karkat Vantas.

He knelt down beside you. "I'm so sorry...." He trembled and you looked into his face.

He was on the verge of tears. His lip trembled and his hands were balled into fists.

"HAHA, little mr. Dick bag himself! Stop digging through the trash sweetie, it's unsanitary." Kristina laughed. Karkat froze.

He jolted up and in the blink of an eye his fist made contact with Kristina's face.

Soon Kristina was on the ground, blood spewing From her nose. She got up hastily and took one look to you then sneered.

"This won't happen forever! Soon you won't be here to help her and then I kill her! I'll break her arm!" Kristina screeched and began to run away.

Karkat knelt beside you and the next thing you knew, you were in his arms heading towards his house.

You woke up in the bathtub. You sat up groggily and began to realize you were in a bathtub.

With no clothes on

And with warm water.

You jolt around.

"KARKAT WHAT THE HELL" you screamed. But Karkat didn't come, instead the girl from the table ,you remembered as Kanaya,  came in.

"Good, you're awake! I was hoping you'd wake up sooner or later. I've picked out some clothes or you. Karkat just needs to bandage you and you'll be good as new. Now I'm very sorry but I have to leave, I have some things planned of rather not miss. So goodbye."She said with perfect alliteration.  

She closed the door. This was you signal to get up and get some clothes on. After that was done, you came into the living room. Karkat was on the couch watching a movie.

You sat yourself next to him.

"Hey, what're you watching?"

"The wedding ringer." He replied.

You snickered. Huh? So he's a romcom guy?

You decided to watch with him, as he bandaged you, him and you laughed over some funny parts.

This was most likely the first thing that was enjoyable in your life.
