It has been almost 5 years since the "incident" between you and Kristina. She ended up switching schools and you and you're friends now live together in peace.
It has also been 6 years since you and karkat had that heated make out session on the couch. Since then nothing too intimate has happened.
You both moved to the local collage, not that you moved to the same collage to be together (you both agreed you'd maintain a long distance relationship if the situation ever would arise).
Most of you're friends moved together with you, nepeta and Equius moved away to study the arts. Vriska is currently on an oversea trip doing who knows what and everyone else stayed behind.
You and karkat moved in together a couple months back and your relationship has been slow. But you didn't mind that much, you just wish he would be in a better mood most of the time.
Sitting on the couch in your apartment, you heard Karkat call for you in the bathroom.
"(Y/n)?" He yelled.
"Yes? What is it?" You yelled back, getting up from your place begrudgingly.
"Have you taken a bath yet today?" He asked as you got closer to the door.
"No, I was planning to tonight but if you want to take one today I'll take one tomorrow."
Being two collage kids in one apartment rent was tough. Paying the electricity bill was hard enough.
"Well...I was think we could take a bath together, you know, to save money." He said, through the cracked door.
Your face light up with a bright smile, as you eagerly said yes.
Stepping into the bathroom, you see that karkat has already place himself in it, his pale skin matching the porcelain of the tub.
You began to get undressed as he watched you, face ablaze.
You slipped in and stared at him intently.
"This is so nice karkat! Why don't we do this more often?" You questioned.
His bright red face, as bright as the red underlings of incorrect words in this story I'm writing, began getting redder as he avoided your gaze. (YES, I just did that ( ✌︎'ω')✌︎ )
"Oh? are you embarrassed?" You giggled as he groaned at you.
"Why do you have to be so god damn fucking cute?!" He spat, folding his arms in a little pout.
You splashed water on him, laughing maniacally.
"Cool off, hothead!"
"BLARGHHH-why, You LITTLE--" he splashed you back. "Take that!"
"Oh, I can take it!" You smiled mischievously.
With on quick swoop, water went tumbling onto his head, making his half dry raven hair, sopping wet.
He growled and he dumped water on your head to get back at you.
Blow after blow, you both getting payback as each one of you splashed another with water, until finally (by some miracle) you were both clean.
You both got out of the tub, drying yourselves off and putting your clothes back on.
Soon, all that playing payed off as both of you were beginning to feel very sleepy.
You yawned, causing karkat to yawn in turn. Thus you both snuggled up on the couch and watched some of your favorite romcoms together.
You content with your life and all the dark memories of the past was behind you.
Right now you were here, with your everything, snuggled up watching nic cage sniffle over some girl.
You snuggled deeper in karkat's chest.
"I love you, (y/n)." He whispered as he too began to grow wearier.
"I love you too." Your last words as you drifted off in a deep sleep, dreaming of only happy things.
This was it. You had found your everything.
And you were the happiest you've ever been.
