You all returned to Karkat's house to discuss the next phase.
Phase 2 was going to be very tricky. Mostly Because it included spying on Kristina.
"So!" Vriska began " I did some research on her website and found that her next meeting is this Saturday! Dave, Rose, Kanaya, and I will accompany (y/n) at the steak out. We'll take some pictures then begin phase 3."
"Wait! Wait! Where am I in this cluster fuck?" Asked Karkat furiously.
"You? Why would we bring you? You're the loudest person here!" Vriska snickered.
"So? I made a fucking promise, you sociopathic bitch! I plan to keep my promises unlike a certain spidery SOMEONE." Karkat frothed.
Vriska sighed.
"Fine. But only because I don't want to deal with your temper tantrum. "
Karkat sat back and nodded approvingly.
You smiled in spite of yourself. Maybe. Maybe you could allow yourself to like him. Maybe.
Just maybe there was a chance.

On Saturday you arrived at your destination. With no trouble with your parents (like they'd care) you just made up some excuse about a science project.
The place she met at was a little farmers market. Stands with fruits and vegetables or all kinds.
You walked next to Rose as Karkat and Dave argued about something irrelevant.
"So, you and Karkat, eh?" Asked Rose politely. You but your tongue.
You really didn't want to be rude, so you tried to tell her.
"Um, no, he's just a friend.." You said elegantly.
She smiled and nodded her head playfully.
"Hey, sweet, may you come back here with me?" Rose called to Kanaya.
Kanaya came and planted a kids on Rose's cheek.
"Can you tell (y/n) about the whole Karkat deal?"
"Why of course. You see, he has a bit if a crush on you." Kanaya giggled.
You felt shock as you continued to walk. You looked around to see Karkat staring at your groups direction.
He seemed bothered.
"R-Really?" You whispered, your face was ablaze.
She nodded vigorously.
"Well..." You gulped. He actually liked you! This wasn't happening.
You spent so much time thinking about Karkat that you didn't notice everybody else walk ahead of you.
You tried to catch up but you were lost in the crowd.
Dammit! What if Kristina sees you?
Speaking of Kristina, there she was. By the bathrooms.
You casually walked over there, like you were a passing civilian.
But you were jerked abruptly to an ally.
It was Kristina's cronies, Olive and April.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Huffed Olive.
"Couldn't get enough of getting your ass kicked?" April raised her fist, but as she was about to punch someone yanked her by her hair roughly.
