"Ooooooooh weee! Honey do you look sexy!" Cake exclaimed as she watched Fionna descend the ladder from their room.
"Come here! Give me a hug, I just need to hug you!" Cake squealed and clapped her paws together.
Fionna blushed at Cake's compliments and looked down at her dress before making her way over to her sister.
"Oh, just watch your step! Walking in those heels must be tough, and especially when there's all this rubble on the ground." Cake extended her arm to grab hold of Fionna as the female stepped over the parts of their damaged roof.
Cake purred happily when she finally got to embrace the girl and rubbed her head against Fionna's stomach.
"Now when you're out dancing tonight, you have to be careful you don't trip and accidentally sprain your ankle or anything. Okay?"
Fionna nodded and patted Cake's head.
"And if he does anything you don't want or makes you feel uncomfortable, don't hesitate to beat his buns, alright?"
"I promise I'll beat him up if he does anything weird." She laughed at Cake's comment.
"Beat who up?" Marshall asked, suddenly appearing midair within the house.
"You that's who! And if you do that again I'll beat you up on the spot!" Cake's tail frizzed out when the vampire suddenly appeared out of nowhere, causing the cat to bare her fangs and hiss.
The male chuckled darkly and floated over to the cat, picking her up before delivering gently yet rapid rub on the head.
"Alright alright, I'll be good tonight." He smirked and placed Cake back on the ground before looking over at Fionna.
"Oh, hey Fionna."
"Marshall Lee." She smiled brightly.
"I didn't know you could clean up so well." She teased and jabbed him in the shoulder.
Marshall looked down at his attire and shrugged before extending out a hand.
"Sometimes I try. But most of the time I just wake up this handsome."
"Oh whatever." Fionna snickered and took hold of his hand.
"And I didn't know you could look so g... girly." Marshall pulled the girl closer to him and held on firmly so that she was floating along with him.
"Hey!" She exclaimed and pressed her hand against his chest, her cheeks starting to warm up at their sudden closeness.
Marshall chuckled softly and shook his head, his voice now lowering considerably.
"I mean you really look gorgeous tonight. I don't know if I'll be able to contain myself..."
Fionna blushed harder at his comment and averted her eyes.
"You better contain yourself! Or if I hear news about anything... and I mean anything, I'm going to get Gumball to kick your butt!" Cake broke in with a stern expression on her face.
"Hehe, don't worry. I'll be a good little boy tonight." Marshall winked.
"Alright, now go you two lovebirds! And Fionna, I'll see you in a little bit. I've got to get ready for my own date tonight." Cake ushered them out and laughed.
"Off we go then." Marshall smiled and gave Fionna a light squeeze before flying off to the Candy Kingdom.
