2 - A Strange Girl

There was a strange girl who always talked to the stars every night. As she tells her stories and looks at the universe, I started to wonder if when she would look at only me.

Where did that thought come from, I always wonder, and when did that begin? But day by day, I start to look forward to her stories. I became a sort of diary, but kind of one sided, just like my... 'Interest' towards that girl.

Wait. Interest? I'm interested of her? An Earth girl? Ha! The girls in our planet are much more beautiful, smart, closer to perfection than her! Yet... That. Much. Colder.

In our world, we do not have 'feelings'. We have... What do we have? We are empty. Cold. Yet, this girl who is alone in her world is so full of... What are these things? I find it frustrating and fascinating at the same time. She has yet to say her name and I have yet to see her face... Her long hair is in the way. What does she look like?

As these thoughts ran through my mind, I was further distracted by a gust of playful air. "0412, what are you doing?"
"Ahh... I see you are looking at that girl who talks to the stars again..."
"You know about her?"
"Of course. She is there every day and she talks to the universe and it is something we can ignore, but you do not. Is she the one who distracted you from the institution? That teleportation was one of your rare mistakes."
"She was not. I was careless."
"You are rarely careless."
"That was one of the rare times that I was."
"Here she comes. And she has picked some unlikely company"

She is here right on time but who are those... men? And she sounds... strange. Then we hear it.

"Help"

And the next thing I knew, I had her in my arms and she and I disappeared.
