The girl's dwelling was simple but neat. It seemed too big for her though. Then I remembered her guardians were not there anymore. She released my hand as soon as we got here and started to fix a room for me to stay in. I went to her to give her some assistance but she told me to just sit and stay.

I looked around and saw a picture of her guardians and examined them closely. Her guardians were beautiful as well. She was the exact replica of her mother except for her eyes. Her mother had light brown eyes, but her eyes were startlingly blue like the ocean.

"Kai?"

I turned around and looked at her. Her hair was tied back and for the first time, I saw her face not hidden.

"Uhm.. the room is ready. And.. and I left some towels and some clothes for you to change into on the bed. You should take a bath while I prepare dinner,okay?"

"What is this?"

The girl was perplexed. "What?"

"I have some... stirrings inside of me that I cannot comprehend."

"Uhm.. stirrings?"

"Yes. You should tie your hair back and show your face to the world because you are beautiful. However there is some part of me that would like your face to remain hidden because some other human male species may have some stirrings for you as well. What I said was humiliating and I shall take you up on that offer for a bath."

I immediately dragged the red - faced girl with me to the room and sat on the bed. She remained standing and continued to look at me.

"And also I would like to ask you... How do I take a bath? What is a bath?"

"You - you don't know what a bath is? How did you clean yourselves there?"

"We stepped into a chamber that sprayed water on us, and we just pressed buttons for everything else. Will you accompany me to the bath?"

The girl's face reddened again. "No, of course not! You're a man and and..."

She tried to leave but I held on to her hand and pulled her towards me. I then leaned my head on her stomach. She absentmindedly started brushing my hair with her fingers.

"Kai?"

"Yes?"

"We were told not to talk to strangers. But even if you are an alien of sorts, you don't feel like a stranger at all."

"It's because I listen to you, remember? And my encounter with you has solved at least one of two questions."

"Well... What question was answered? What's the other question?"

"The first question was what you looked like. The second is what is your name?"

She smiled. "Hello Kai. I'm Astrid. Nice to finally meet you. I'd like to listen to you too."

Without thinking, I drew her in closer and pulled her in bed. She struggled to get up but I wrapped my arms around her. I wonder what this stirring is I have that makes me want to stay close to her. Very close. That thought was the last thing on my mind before I fell asleep with a girl who I did not want to let go... Even though she struggled for quite a while.

I have never felt this before.
