??pov:

the students trickled back toward the buses parked outside the old estate.

Jungwon was counting heads when he noticed Sunghoon suddenly patting his wrist, eyes wide.

“Wait,” Sunghoon murmured, his breath catching. “My bracelet…”

Jungwon tilted his head. “The one you always wear?”

Sunghoon’s fingers trembled over his wrist where the silver charm should’ve been. “It’s gone. I—I must’ve dropped it. I need to go back.”

Jungwon blinked. “Sunghoon, we’re about to leave. We don’t have time—”

“I’ll be quick,” Sunghoon cut in, already turning back toward the mansion. “Please. That bracelet… it’s important.”

Jungwon sighed but nodded reluctantly. “Okay. I’ll tell the professor. Just hurry, alright?”

Sunghoon didn’t look back. His feet pounded against the stone path as he sprinted toward the castle, breath tight in his chest.

The iron gates creaked as he slipped through them again, the emptiness of the estate swallowing him whole.

Inside, the light had dimmed, and the shadows had grown longer, curling around the chandeliers and the torn velvet curtains like ghosts. The grand hall felt colder now. More alive.

He slowed down as he passed the staircase.

The portrait of Prince Solon still hung above the landing—his face bathed in twilight, noble and heartbreakingly familiar.

Sunghoon stared up at it.

Why do I know that face so well?

Why… does it feel like mine?

A flash of silver near the floor drew his eyes. His bracelet lay under a stone bench, half-hidden in dust and cracked tile.

He knelt and reached for it—but the moment his fingers touched the charm, something clicked.

His chest tightened.

His mind spun.

Flames. Screams. Chains. A voice crying out for help. "No—no, Father, please!" “Jino, run!”

Sunghoon gasped, stumbling back with the bracelet clutched in his hand. His vision blurred.

What… what is this…?

Sunghoon heard click sound from main door.

His eyes widened.

Other side:

The caretaker locked the door and walking away from the side .

Inside sunghoon running in full speed.

He pushed the door try to open the door.

But the door was locked outside.

"Hello!!? Anyone outside?? I'm locked inside!!! Hello!!!" Sunghoon yelled and knocking the door continue.
