Imagine: Kol saying that he loves you. 

You threw yourself onto your bed, exhausted. You had a long day working at The Grill and that incident with Kol didn't help. Images of Kol kissing you kept replaying in your head causing a blush to appear on your cheeks. You sighed, a part of you still hated yourself for pushing Kol away but you knew it was for the best. Kol wasn't one for a real relationship and commitment and you doubted that you'd be able to change that about him. It would be more painful spending one amazing night with him and then never having it again than never knowing what you were missing out on.

You closed your eyes and started to drift off until you felt someone's arms wrap around you. You felt someone kiss and nibble at your ear and in your half asleep state you let them until you fully realised what was going on. You screeched in shock and ran out of your bed away from the intruder until you heard a playful laugh. "No need to be scared darling. I would say I don't bite but I guess that would be a lie..." You heard Kol chuckle to himself and turned to face him only to be met by his arrogant smirk. "KOL!" You roared, angry at him for scaring you like that, "What the hell are you doing?" You charged towards him and went to push him out of your bed until he caught your wrists and held them close to his chest. His gaze flicked from your hands to your eyes and instantly all of your anger disappeared. His eyes were filled with an intensity and longing that made your heart flutter. The image of Kol kissing your neck while he held your waist replayed itself in your mind again. In that moment of distraction, Kol used his vampire speed to pull you on top of him where he lay in the bed so that you were straddling him, "I'm finishing what I started earlier darling. I can't leave a girl waiting when she wants me as bad as I know you do." You gasped at your closeness to Kol and tried to wiggle yourself off him but he held you there firmly by your waist,"For the last time, I don't want you Kol." You said weakly, but you knew that you're racing heart gave you away.

Kol gave you a smug grin before replacing it with a serious expression, "Y/N... I told myself earlier that I would give you time and let you figure out the feelings you had for me by yourself but I can't stop thinking about you. In all my 1000 years on this earth, you would have thought that I learnt patience but not when it comes to you." Kol sat up on the bed, your body still straddling his, and put a hand to your cheek. Your self control was dwindling, your eyes kept returning to Kol's inviting lips but you used the last of your willpower to turn your face away from his hand. "Kol, I know the feelings I have for you. But I can't act on them because I know you don't feel the same way. How could you? I'm just like any other girl to you. You'll have your fun for a night and then go." A single tear rolled down your cheek. Kol wiped the tear from your face and lifted your chin so that you were looking into his tender gaze, "You have no idea do you? I love you Y/N. You were never like any other girl to me. I don't want a single day to go by where I do not see your smile or feel you in my arms. I want you by my side. Always and forever."

You breath hitched and immediately you collided your lips with his as you wrapped your arms around his neck. Kol kissed you back passionantly, his arms sliding up and down your body. You pushed his body down so that he lay flat against the bed as you trailed kisses along his jaw. Kol moaned and then flipped you over using vampire strength so that he was now on top of you, pressing his lips to your neck. A smile stretched across your face as Kol continued kissing you. You never imagined Kol loving you but, for once, you were glad that he proved you wrong.
