Imagine: Watching Kol get daggered and only being able to undagger him a century later.

*1914*

The Mikaelson's parties had become somewhat of a tradition. They would throw one for every occasion they saw fit. At some point they would always address their guests while standing on a staircase or something similar.

This evening was no exception, but as Klaus started to speak you immediately knew something was off. His tone of voice, his choice of words and the slightly panicked look on Kol's face gave you a bad feeling. You knew Kol had something in the works about getting back at Klaus, but he had never divulged any details. He kept saying that the less you knew the less you could be blamed for anything.

When Kol suddenly disappeared up the stairs, he was promptly stopped by Elijah and Klaus. The latter drew a dagger from his jacket and advanced on Kol, while Elijah held him in a tight grip.

The hybrid was saying something, but you no longer listened. You were a vampire and technically you could speed up there and do something. Reality was a different thing, however. You could never fight off two Originals, three if you included Rebekah.

Kol's eyes found yours and a flash of emotions crossed them. You weren't entirely sure what that meant, but you thought fear might have been one of them.

You screamed at Kol's brothers to stop, but it was too late. The dagger pierced his heart and Kol started to desiccate immediately. It was horrible, but the worst thing about it was the smirk on Rebekah's face. God, how you hated her. You just knew she had something to do with it.

*a century later*

You kept rolling the dagger you had just pulled from Kol's body between your fingers. If only this waking up business wouldn't take so long. Someone could return any moment and you did not want to be caught in the act here.

After Kol had been stored away in a coffin you had tried to free him a couple of times, but you could never get close enough. You missed him terribly and you wanted your friend back. Easier said than done, because it wasn't easy getting close to the coffin without anyone noticing. And let's be honest, you also weren't thrilled to end up on Klaus's bad side.

But you have always been someone to seize an opportunity when it presented itself. You had located the Mikaelsons in Mystic Falls where you were surprised to find out that Klaus seemed to be occupied with a cheerleader, Rebekah had her eye on the quarterback and Elijah was nowhere to be seen. You waited until the best time to sneak into the house and finally remove this pesky dagger.

You were so lost in thought that you never realized that the coffin in front of you was now empty until someone whispered in your ear.

"Thinking about me?"

You spun around afraid you had been caught, but your face immediately broke into a huge smile when you realized who it was. "You're back."

Kol gave you one of his devilish smiles and within a second he had you pressed up against him and was kissing you.

"Well, that's new." you thought but didn't hesitate for a second and responded to the kiss.

After you two broke apart Kol kept you close to him and touched his forehead to yours. "Somehow I figured you'd be the one to bring me back."

With a loud bang Kol let the lid of the coffin fall shut and pocketed the dagger. It'll be interesting to see how long it will take the others to find out there was one less corpse around.

Kol held his hand out to you. "Care to cause some havoc, darling?"

With a smirk on your face you took Kol's hand, because you knew you'd follow him anywhere.

"I thought you'd never ask."
