Imagine: Being in the car with Kol Mikaelson when he suddenly and unexpectedly takes your hand in his, intertwining your fingers.
You sit silently in the passenger seat of Kol's black camaro as it speeds down the highway, the youngest original vampire himself in the driver's seat beside you.
It is dark out and drops of rain hit quietly on the windshield. Not a single car beside their own is in sight at this point, due to it being a late hour.
You had met Kol a few months ago and had managed to convince him that some humans, such as yourself, are more than just food.
You and Kol had quickly become friends and were basically inseperable. Though, lately Kol had become distant as if something were bothering him.
Lost in your thoughts, you don't notice at first when Kol's hand begins to inch towards yours.
Suddenly, his large hand is holding your tiny one. Your fingers intertwine and that's when you knew. That's when you knew why he had become distant.
Kol Mikaelson had feelings for you.
