Ferrari Estate – Northern Italy

The sun was setting behind the marble towers of the Ferrari compound. Inside the private training arena, the sound of a sniper shot echoed — sharp, clean, perfect.

Leonardo Ferrari lowered the rifle slowly. He removed his gloves and stared out over the balcony with that cold, unshakeable stare he was known for.

Lorenzo stepped in, wiping sweat off his neck, still breathing hard from a sparring match.

Lorenzo:
"You hit six out of six. You always do. What’s bothering you?"

Leonardo didn’t answer.

He walked over to the desk nearby — a thick folder sat open. Inside were grainy surveillance prints from the Boston warehouse. One blurry figure.

Female. Hidden in shadows. But… something in the posture.

Leonardo:
"This photo came from Interpol. The woman in the footage matches the build, stride, and shoulder curve of Isabella... five years ago."

Lorenzo (freezes):
"Leo… she’s gone."

Leonardo (quietly):
"No."

He pulled another folder from a drawer — old, yellowed, creased. Inside was an academy report, noting her stats, training style, and walking pattern — details most people would ignore.

Leonardo (almost whispering):
"You don’t train someone to be a ghost and then expect them to leave no trace. She’s leaving them… intentionally."

Lorenzo looked at the photo again.

Lorenzo:
"Even if she is alive, why wouldn’t she come back?"

Leonardo (cold):
"Because she doesn’t trust us anymore. And maybe... she shouldn't."

Later That Night – Leonardo’s Office

Leonardo opened an encrypted call — one used only for family emergencies.

The screen flickered, connecting to Marco, who answered from his law firm’s office.

Marco:
"If this isn’t about international charges, I’m hanging up."

Leonardo (flat):
"I think Isabella is alive."

Marco (blinks, serious now):
"You’re not joking."

Leonardo:
"I need you to start searching. Quietly. Through legal trails. No flags. No family names. Use client-privileged search routes only."

Marco:
"And if I find her?"

Leonardo:
"You don’t approach. You send me everything. And only me."

Marco:
"Understood."

Isabella’s Villa – At That Moment

She sat in her office, watching live footage from her Boston compound.

Her fingers paused over the keyboard.

Camera 8 — Italy. Ferrari estate drone feed activated.

She saw Leonardo, standing alone on the balcony, looking up at the sky like he knew he was being watched.

Isabella (quietly):
"Still hunting ghosts, brother?"

She didn’t smile.

She never did when it came to him.
