Rain hit the massive glass windows of the Ferrari compound in slow, violent waves.
Inside the private strategy room, the lights were low.
Cold.
Sharp.
Silent.
A giant digital screen glowed above the marble table.
Leonardo Ferrari stood at the head of it, one hand resting against the surface while the other held a glass of untouched whiskey.
His expression?
Unreadable.
But the tension in the room was suffocating.
Lorenzo leaned against the wall nearby.
Marco sat quietly flipping through surveillance photos.
Mateo stood beside the screen, reading medical reports from another shipment attack.
Then the doors opened.
Fast.
One of Leonardo's men entered holding a black folder tightly against his chest.
Guard: "We found something."
Nobody moved.
The guard walked forward carefully and placed the folder on the table.
Leonardo finally looked up.
Leonardo: "Talk."
The man swallowed once.
Guard: "Three nights ago... there was a shooting in Barcelona."
Marco frowned slightly.
Mateo crossed his arms.
Guard: "A private underground warehouse. Illegal arms route connected to La Corte Nera."
At the mention of the name-
The room shifted.
Leonardo's eyes darkened instantly.
Guard: "One witness reported seeing a woman."
Lorenzo scoffed quietly.
Lorenzo: "That means nothing."
The guard continued nervously.
Guard: "She was shot days earlier. Still injured. But according to witnesses..."
He hesitated.
Guard: "She killed Victor Santoro herself."
Silence.
Complete silence.
Marco slowly looked up.
Mateo's expression hardened.
Leonardo: "Continue."
The guard opened the folder.
Several blurry surveillance photos slid across the table.
Dark clothing.
Black hair.
A slim figure stepping from a black car beside a tall man in a long coat.
Face hidden.
Identity impossible to confirm.
