Callen
"How did this guy even get a meeting with us?" I lean over and mumble quietly to Julie.
"Uh..." She flips through her notes. "He's the son of someone on the board."
Of course he is.
The guy – whose name I've already forgotten – stands at the front of his room. He looks to be in his early twenties, wearing a suit that probably costs as much as mine. He fumbles opening up a presentation and begins speaking enthusiastically.
I sigh and settle myself into the boardroom's chair at the head of the long table. My directors and vice presidents sitting at the table look equally unimpressed. The combined salaries in this room easily total to over a million dollars – I can't believe I'm paying them to spend their time on this.
I try to pay attention to his sales pitch, but it quickly becomes apparent that this guy has no idea what the hell he's talking about. He throws around buzzwords like confetti, but there's no substance to what he's saying. Just a trust fund kid who started a business as a hobby.
I suddenly get an idea.
I move my hand to the side until I find Julie's knee. She jolts but doesn't look at me. I slowly trail my fingers upwards along her soft thigh, reaching beneath her skirt.
Her breath hitches, but she parts her legs ever so slightly.
I briefly reevaluate the room. The lights are off and everyone's attention is focused on the meaningless presentation.
My fingers slowly drift higher until they graze lace fabric. Her eyes widen and an almost inaudible gasp slips out from her pursed lips. She turns to me.
Should I stop? I mouth to her.
She chews on her lip and shakes her head.
I give her a sly smile before rubbing tantalizingly slow circles, enjoying the sight of her squirming. Her thighs tremble and she tightly grips her pen. Even in the dark, I can tell how pink her face has gotten. I quicken my pace, and she bites her index knuckle.
She suddenly pushes my hand away and shakes her head. I can't, she mouths.
I chuckle quietly and give her thigh a soft squeeze.
The lights suddenly turn back on. Julie straightens her posture, tucking the hair clinging to her face behind her ears.
"Alright thanks for listening, everyone! Does anyone have any questions?" he asks. "I'm open to investors."
The room falls silent, and everyone glances over at me. "Thank you for the detailed presentation," I speak up once it's clear no one has anything to say. "It was very stimulating."
Julie's eyes widen, face turning even redder. You're unbelievable, says her expression.
I dismiss the meeting and everyone trails out.
"Jacob, we're going to stay here for a bit," I say, looking out into the hall. "Just have some notes to review."
I come back into the room, locking the door behind me. Julie leans back against the table and frowns up at me.
"You're evil," she grumbles, burying her face against my neck.
"I always finish what I start," I whisper into her ear.
She lets out a surprised squeal as I quickly spin her around so that she's facing the table.
"Should I stop?" I lower my voice, deep and rough. I grip the hem of her skirt, slowly tugging it upwards millimeter by millimeter.
