Cold Open – Monica’s Apartment
Ronnie is at the kitchen table sketching. Chandler walks in holding a letter.
"Mail call. And by mail, I mean a single crumpled envelope that smells like the janitor’s cologne." Chandler said
(takes it, reads it quietly)
"...It’s from school. My art teacher nominated me for the Student Expression Showcase next week." Ronnie said with confusion and anxiety
(trying to be excited)
"That’s awesome! Right?" Her brother said
(blunt)
"No. That’s terrifying. People. Judging. Lights." She said as she looked at him
"Okay, but also—your art. Your comeback." He told her
(staring at it)
"I don’t know if I want to be seen yet." She said to him
Cue theme song.

The gang is hyped about the art show — much more than Ronnie.
"We need outfits! This is Ronnie’s comeback exhibit! What screams “supportive older sister vibe”?" Rachel asked excited
"Chains. And maybe wings." Phoebe told her
"Can I be your art coach? Like yell encouraging things? “Paint faster!” “More emotions!." Joey asked her
(deadpan)
"It’s an exhibit. Not a speed race." Ronnie said to them
"Do you want feedback? I studied expressionism in grad school." Ross offered her

"If he says “Picasso,” I’m leaving." She said to him

– Chandler & Ronnie’s Apartment (Night Before Show)
Ronnie stares at her framed piece: a charcoal self-portrait. Her short hair, a storm above her, a single streak of light through it.
(softly)
"This is the first thing I made after the hospital." She said
"Then it's already a masterpiece. Even if only you understand it." He said
(glancing at him)
"You always say the right thing when I don’t want you to."she told him
"It’s my gift. And curse."

– School Art Show (Evening)
The group arrives in chaotic fashion. Joey accidentally gets mistaken for an art teacher and ends up “critiquing” student pieces.
(to a confused student)
"See, the use of blue really makes me feel... like pizza." Joey said
Meanwhile, Phoebe is setting up a live performance involving crystals and slow-motion dancing. Rachel and Ross are bickering over whether her floral dress is “too casual for a gallery setting.”
(watching them, whispers to Chandler)
"They’re all insane." Ronnie told him
"Yes. And they’re here for you." He said

– The Moment
Ronnie’s piece is unveiled. People look. Some nod. Some whisper. Ronnie watches nervously from the side. Then—Jake appears.
"That’s the girl I waited for."Jake said
"It’s just paper and pencil." She said
"Nah. It’s a mirror. You showed them what surviving looks like." He told her
She breathes. Not fully relaxed — but not frozen either. She steps forward. Joins the crowd. Lets herself be seen.

– Central Perk (Later That Night)
The group celebrates with coffee and cake. Ronnie sits on the couch with her sketchbook open. She’s drawing them — laughing, chaotic, hers.
(peeking):
"Is that me? Or a goat?" Phoebe asked her
(grinning)
"Bit of both. Ronnie said to her
"You did it." Chandler said
(quietly)
"No panic. No running. Just... me. That’s enough, right?"she asked him
"It’s more than enough."he told her
(Ronnie smiles. A real one.)
