INT. THERAPIST’S OFFICE – LATE AFTERNOON

Ronnie sits on the couch. She’s curled slightly, picking at a loose thread in her sleeve. Across from her: DR. HART, late 40s, warm but professional, with a soft voice that never sounds fake.

"You’ve been really brave coming back every week, Ronnie. Even when it was hard." Dr. Hart said

(low
"I still don’t know what I’m doing here half the time. Some days I’m fine. Some days I want to burn the whole world down."she said

(gently)
"That’s actually something I want to talk to you about today." Dr Hart said

Ronnie stiffens slightly. She doesn’t like where this is going.

"We’ve been tracking your moods, your thoughts, how fast they shift. How deep your reactions go — especially around rejection, anger, fear of abandonment.
And you’ve done a really good job being honest." Dr. Hart said

"You’re about to label me, aren’t you?" She asked knowing what about to come

A long pause. Then Dr. Hart nods.

"I believe you’re living with borderline personality disorder. And I also see strong patterns of bipolar disorder — most likely Bipolar II.
That’s not a life sentence. It’s a map."Dr. Hart said

Ronnie stares at her hands. She doesn’t speak right away.

(softly)
"So I’m broken." She said

(firm, but calm)
"No. You’ve been hurting. That’s not the same thing.
But now, we can treat it. With therapy, support — and yes, with medication."Dr. hart said

She pulls a small sheet from her folder.

"This is just the beginning. You’re not alone in this." Dr. Hart said to her

INT. MONICA’S APARTMENT – NIGHT

Later. Ronnie sits at the kitchen table. A small white pharmacy bag sits unopened in front of her. Jake walks in, sees the stillness in her face, and knows something’s different.

"You okay?" He asked her

"I got answers today. From Dr. Hart." She told him

He sits beside her. Not touching. Just waiting.

"BPD. Bipolar. Pills. Words that make me sound like a warning label." She said

(quietly)
"They don’t scare me." He said

"They scare me." She told him

She reaches into the bag and pulls out a small orange bottle. Turns it over in her hand.

"What if it changes me?" She said

"What if it frees you?" He told her from a different point of view

She stares at him. Her eyes are full but she doesn’t cry. She nods.

"Stay with me while I start?" She asked

(without pause)
"Always." He told her

RONNIE’S JOURNAL ENTRY – LATER THAT NIGHT

> “They gave it a name. Two, actually.”
“I thought it would crush me. Instead, it explained me.”
“This is not who I am. It’s what I’m living with. And I can live with it.”

INT. MONICA’S APARTMENT – EVENING

Everyone is there. Dinner’s winding down. Pizza boxes, soda cans, laughter slowly dying down. Ronnie hasn’t touched much food. Jake sits beside her, quietly supportive. He knows what’s coming.

(smiling)
"Okay, that was maybe the best pizza we’ve ever ordered." Monica said

"It’s probably because the guy didn’t understand Joey’s fake Italian." Chandler said

"Hey! It’s called charm, okay?" Joey told them

Laughter. Then Ronnie slowly rises to her feet. The room quiets just enough. Something in her body language changes everything.

"Can I… say something?"

They all turn toward her. Jake stays seated, watching her with soft eyes. Chandler straightens slightly.

(quietly at first)
"I went to therapy today. Not just today. I’ve been going. A while. And... something happened." She said

(gently)
"What happened?" Phoebe asked worried

"They gave me a diagnosis.
Two, actually.
Borderline Personality Disorder. And Bipolar II." She said to the group

Silence. Not shock — just a heavy, respectful pause.

"I didn’t want to tell you like this. But I’ve been tired. Of hiding. Of pretending I’m just “moody” or “difficult.”
This is what’s real. This is… me. And I’m learning how to deal with it."

(softly)
"Ronnie…" Rachel said

(cutting in)
"I’m not saying this so anyone feels bad. Or scared. I’m still me.
Just — now, there’s a name for why everything feels too much sometimes. Why I crash hard, or want to disappear. Why I pull away from people I love." she said

She looks directly at Chandler, then Monica, then Jake.

"This doesn’t mean I’m broken.
It means I’m fighting for myself." She said

---

(standing, hugging her first)
"You are the strongest person in this room." Monica said to her

(voice tight)
"I’m proud of you, Ron. So proud. I wish I had your guts at your age."

"Okay, so we make sure you’ve got support. Pizza. And hugs. Yeah?"joey said as he joined the hug

(nodding through tears)
"Whatever you need. No judgment. Ever." Rachel said

(soft)
"I see you. And I know what that takes. I really do." Phoebe said to her

(still seated, holding eye contact)
"You didn’t lose anyone by saying that. You just let us in."

Ronnie nods. Tears in her eyes now. She doesn’t try to hide them. Monica pulls her into the middle of the group. They all hug her at once — no big words, just warmth.
