– Monica’s Apartment, Saturday Night

(Everyone’s gathered. Monica is laying out snacks with military precision. A stack of classic 90s board games — Taboo, Scrabble, Uno, Jenga — is towering nearby.

"Okay, ground rules: No eating near the board. No flipping the board. And no insulting my competitive spirit." Monica said

"So… Joey and I should leave? " Said Chandler

"I’m just here to win, baby." Joey says

Rachel (to Ronnie)
"Ever play with these lunatics before?" She asked the girl

Ronnie (small smile)
"No, but I’ve survived worse." She said

Jake (teasing)
"She’s got stealth. They won’t see her coming."he said

---

– MID-GAME CHAOS

They’re halfway through Taboo — Monica’s veins are visibly bulging. Phoebe is somehow making up new rules. Joey keeps blurting out answers.

Ronnie (gently laughing)
"Wait, how is “forklift” a verb?" She asks

"In Pheebeland, it can be anything you dream." Phoebe told her

Monica (shouting)
"TIME! You lost 12 seconds, Joey!" She screams

"How is that my fault? I didn’t invent forks!" He said

Jake watches Ronnie laugh — really laugh — for the first time in weeks. She’s leaning into Rachel, eyes crinkled, not overthinking.

---

– LAST ROUND (JENGA)

They switch to Jenga. Ronnie’s surprisingly calm while Chandler’s sweating. Joey knocks over the tower twice just breathing near it.

Chandler (focused)
"This isn’t a game. This is a structural miracle." He said

Ronnie (steady hands)
"No pressure… but I have nothing to lose." She said to her self

She pulls a block with precision, steady hands, a tiny grin. The gang watches — impressed. She wins. The tower crashes after she finishes her move.

Jake (softly, to her)
"Told you — stealth." He said

Ronnie (shocked)
"I never win games." She said

"Well, you just did. Fair and square." Rachel told her

Monica (begrudgingly)
"She even followed all my rules. I… respect that." She said

They all applaud lightly. Ronnie blushes but smiles.

---

– LATE NIGHT, COUCH WIND-DOWN

The group has left. Just Jake and Ronnie sit on the couch, curled under a blanket. The game mess is still on the floor.

"That felt… normal. Stupid. Loud. Annoying. Fun."she said to him

"You were incredible." He told her

"It’s weird. I didn’t draw. I didn’t overthink. I didn’t flinch." She said

"You didn’t survive the night. You lived it." He said to her

She leans into him. Not with heaviness — just comfort.

✏️ Final Journal Entry – That Night

> “Healing isn’t always crying and breakthroughs.”
“Sometimes, it’s beating Chandler at Jenga.”
“And realizing I can laugh again, without apologizing for it.”
