MONDAY 8TH AUGUST

Calum and Michael had assured me that their kiss had just been a drunken mistake, it upset me a little I kinda did ship them.

Caitlin had texted me already telling me she was going to be off because of her splitting headache which meant I was facing today alone.

The bell rang and everyone piled into art, I took the seat I had sat in the week before and put my bag under my desk.

"Good morning" Mr Kendall said, he seemed in a pleasant mood this morning. "Now everyone I have decided on making a seating plan"

The whole class moaned

"I wouldn't have had to if there wasn't a few people" his eyes immediately shot over to Luke and Ashton who weren't even paying attention "that misbehaved last week. Everyone up"

I picked up my bag and stood up kicking my chair back under my desk.
We all made a line around the back of the classroom.

"Down the front we will have you Mr Irwin"

Ashton sighed and took the seat Mr Kendall was pointing at

"And when Miss Clifford returns she will be sitting next to you"

I watched as Ashton began to smile but he stopped when he realised that everyone's eyes were on him.

Eventually the only people left standing was myself, Luke, Patric and Tilly, please lord don't make me sit next to him, please.

"And here we will have Miss Bakster "

Please be say Tilly or Patric, please.

"And next to her we will have Mr Hemmings"

Shit.

I let out a groan as I slumped down on my new seat, Luke didn't looked to pleased to be sitting next to me either, hopefully he had stopped with the 'babe' stuff.

"I'm going to give you a few minutes to get to know who you are sitting next to but don't be too loud" Mr Kendall chirped taking a seat at his desk.

"Hey cow" Luke spat

If I rolled my eyes anymore at this boy they would get lost inside my head.

"Dipshit" I nodded

"Enjoy the party?" He asked but he said it in a way that made him sound uninterested.

"It was okay"

I hadn't really enjoyed the party, I got separated from my friends and then I had to talk to Luke, so not my ideal kinda night.

"How about you?" I wanted to ask him about the girl he had made out but at this point he had probably already forgotten her name.

"It was a little shit" he chuckled

"There were only a small amount of snacks" I giggled not realising I wasn't talking to one of my friends, but much to my surprise Luke let out a small laugh.

"I know who only puts out pretzels and crisps" he smiled at me, it wasn't that cocky smirk I had seen all those times before but it was a genuine smile, I felt my heart beat a little faster at the sight of it. What's wrong with me?

I sent him a smile back "you know more about party snacks than you let on"

"Well I tend to only voice my opinions on party snacks on special occasions" he replied

"And what is this special occasion?" I asked curiously

"It doesn't matter" he muttered turning his head away

"Come one tell me" I knew I was pushing this considering this was the first conversation I had had with Luke without us insulting each other but I just wanted to talk to him now for some reason.

"Just drop it" he snapped

I sighed "I only asked"

"And I don't want to talk about it, okay?"

"Fine"

And back to the usual Luke then I guess.
