Luke held open his front door for me, I walked in taking a deep breath, I put my hood down, he moved infront of me.

"Phones this way" he lead me into the kitchen and handed me his home phone.

I took it out of his hand and whispered 'thanks'.

I had no clue who to call, I wasn't calling my parents and I had no idea what I would say to Alec or Cameron.

Calum! I'll call Calum.

I dialled his number and held the phone to my ear, I watched as Luke put for pieces of toast into the toaster, he stretched to get something out of the cupboard above his head revealing his stomach, my heart sped up.

My train of thought about Luke shirtless was interrupted by Calum's voice down the phone

"Hello" he said he sounded tired

"Hey Cal its me"

Luke gave me a strange look but continued to focus on his toast

"Oh hey Keira, where are you phoning from?"

I swallowed harshly

"Eh Luke Hemming's house"

A smirk appeared over Luke's face as he spread Nutella over each individual piece of toast.

Calum started to laugh loudly down the phone.

"Sorry what" he said in between laughs

"You heard me. Anyway could you come pick me up?"

"Oh sorry k I can't it's my sisters birthday today"

"Oh shit sorry Cal, I'll try Michael or something"

"It's fine, see ya soon"

"Bye"

I hung up the phone and Luke turned to face me, he took a bite out of the toast.

"Can I call someone else please?" I felt extremely nervous

"Sure, I'll be in the living room" he picked up another piece of toast and walked by me

"You forgot two pieces" I informed him making him spin around

"That's for you" he chirped before turning back around and walking away

A smile slowly spread across my face and I took a bite out of the food he had made me.

I rung Michael but there was no answer. I sighed heavily and made my way into the living room after finishing off my toast.

"I'm going to go" I said to Luke before making my way to the door.

"Who's picking you up?" He paused his program

"No one, I'm just going to walk"

"You can stay for a bit longer at least until the rain stops and I'll walk you home, if you want"

Butterflies.

"If you don't mind" I shrugged, why was he suddenly being so nice and why wasn't I questioning it more?

He moved onto the other side of the couch and patted the area he had just left.

I sat down next to him sending him a quick smile before diverting my attention to my feet.

The awkwardness was so obvious you could poke it with a stick.

"So" Luke filled this silence "how you finding your new classes?"

"They're alright, I wanted Mr Davis for Art though, Calum had him last year and he said he was really good"

"Yeah apparently he does this whole project at the end of the year where you draw one picture to describe your year"

"I don't know what I would have drawn. Probably 'stress' in caps"

Luke laughed making me blush.

"How about you?"

"I mean it's school so I'm not exactly happy to go"

I giggled "okay then what about outside of school?" Luke never shared his personal life with anyone at school, I knew so little about him.

"There's something I kinda want to do" he sounded shy which was extremely rare

"And what's that"

He looked away for a few seconds as though he was finding the courage to say something

"It's kinda stupid but I'd like to start a band"

A large grin appeared on my face, I was happy Luke was able to tell this to me.

"That sounds fun, so would you want to be the next One Direction?"

"Definitely not but I wouldn't mind touring with them or getting the amount of girls they do"

I rolled my eyes "woah, the amount of girls they do? You ever heard or Larry?" I laughed

A small smile played along his lips "funny. The only problem is I can't find anyone who wants to join apart from Ash" he looked genially upset

"I know this dork that plays bass and can sing and this other nerd that plays guitar and can also sing" I smiled

"And who would that be?" He pushed himself up obviously intrigued

"Calum Hood and Michael Clifford"

"You think they'd join"

"Yeah, they'd agree in like 5 seconds"
