K: Luke?

L: Kay night xxxx

I had never been so nervous. It could have just been a drunken mishap but after the other night after the cinema I couldn't help but think about him, was he doing the same? I was probably overthinking it. This is Luke Hemmings I'm talking about he's a user he sleeps with girls for the fun of it god he's probably caught more STDs than he has  basketballs.

I snapped out of my thoughts as the door in front of me opened and I was stood facing a smiling blonde woman who was dressed in an apron that read "I only have a kitchen because it came with the house" it made me loosen up a bit.

"Hiya. I'm one of Luke's friends." The words sounded so different and new as I spoke them.

"Oh you must be Wendy." She waved me in and closed the door behind me.

"It's Keira actually." I sighed. How stupid could I be? Luke writing a song about me? A girl he barely knew or liked. He could have any girl he wished. He could write a song about anyone at our school and was too drunk to realise who he had really texted.

"Yes dear I know. That's his code name for you. You played her in a school play when you were about seven I think it was. I still have the photos of Luke dressed up as Peter Pan. That's what he called you before and after the show was finished. His brothers teased him for it, I thought it was adorable. Don't tell him I told you though." The small woman's face seemed to have a permanent smile across it and after the information I had just received I felt very comforted by her grin.

"I don't even remember that play." I laughed having no recollection of the event.

"Luke sure does." She winked "Him and Ashton are downstairs in the basement. Would you like something to drink?" She offered.

I shook my head. "I'm fine thank you." I returned a half smile "where are the stairs to go downstairs?" I swallowed harshly the fear I had standing outside was resurfacing.

"Through the door to your left and at the right." She replied kindly.

"Thank you." I walked through the house I had been in several weeks ago. I had yet to enter this room or the basement but Luke's home was lovely. There was many family photos it looked like there was at least one per wall. I opened the door in front of me and was already greeted by the echoing sound of drums. I descended the wooden staircase and watched a clueless to my arrival Luke and Ashton singing. The song wasn't their own, it was 'What I like about you' by The Romantics.

I was in shock. Luke's voice was incredible. It was strong and ruff. He hit every note perfectly while adding in his own mix to it on the guitar. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't falling for him but it wasn't for all the reason most girls did. It was the concentration on his face as he strummed. It was the laugh I had just began to hear but it had already become my very favourite sound. It was the fact he called me Wendy after a school show I didn't even know had happened.

"Keira!" Luke jumped as he saw me.

"Heyyy." I waved awkwardly

"What up Bakster?" Ashton held up a peace sign as he put down his drumsticks.

"What up Irwin." I grinned.

Ashton's eyes opened as he shook his head. "I'm very sorry Keira." He apologised

"For what?" I questioned rather confused.

"For what's about to happen." He continued to shake his head.

"Ashton what the fuck? Are you guys gonna kill me? Stop being so ominous." He was scaring me. What a strange child.

"Ahhhhh" someone from behind me yelled as two hands were placed on my shoulders.

"The shit!" I yelled practically jumping in my skin.

It was Calum. Thanks bud. I hit him. Why must he do this?

"That was funneh." He giggled taking a seat on an torn up orange couch sitting in front of me.

"Yeah if you're a satanist." I huffed.

"Anysways if the prank master has finished." Michael started sarcastically "Can we get this practice on the way?"

The four boys glanced at each other and nodded. I stole a look at Luke, he looked sick, maybe he was just embarrassed about his incorrect drunken words. Maybe it didn't mean anything. Maybe it did.
