The time danced away when I was at Luke's, for the hours I was there I had forgotten every horrible name he had called me and every sly comment.

We talked a lot about his hope to start a band and I gave him Michael and Calum's numbers.

It was nearly nine and I had decided that I should head home, I pulled on my hoodie and put my shoes on.

I stretched as I stood up yawning "thanks for letting me eh sit in?"

"It was nothing. So are you going to tell me why you were out in the rain crying?" Luke asked

I swallowed harshly, I didn't intend on telling him what had happened but he had listened to me all night and he had shared so much.

"It doesn't matter" I shook my head and walked to the door

"No Keira it does"

I couldn't tell him, I didn't even want to.

"Goodnight Luke" I smiled at him and opened the door, I heard him call after me but ignored it and kept walking.

Do you know what sucks? Not being able to look your father in the eye. My parents had told Cameron and Alec about their intentions to divorce and they handled it pretty well, but they didn't know what my dad had done and I intended on keeping it that way.

I spent my weekend sulking in my room, I ignored any texts I got and just listened to depressing music.

The time had come again for school and I had a long pep talk with myself in order to get out of bed.

The sky was a lot brighter today, there were no clouds in sight and the sun shone through my bedroom window.

I blasted 'The kids aren't alright' by Fall Out boy as I got dressed and applied my makeup.

The nice weather had made everyone at school happier, all the students that were arriving had huge grins painted across their faces. I personally wasn't feeling this sudden burst of happiness and neither was my sister

She sighed heavily as she parked her car.

"You okay?" I asked her from the backseat, Alec had called shotgun.

"Yeah, it's just who are we gonna live with?" She replied

"Don't worry about it Cam" my brother interjected

"But I can't not Alec, who is going to move out and find a new place? Will we three see each other less often?" I could see the tears swell in her eyes as she spoke

"There's tons of kids out there who's parents are divorced we'll be fine" I lied slightly, I didn't really think we'd be fine.

"Come one we've got 15 minutes till school starts" Alec said changing the subject.

The three of us poured out the car, we waved goodbye to each other and went our separate ways.

Before I could open the doors to school a loud voice shouted at me

"Where the fuck have you been?" I immediately knew it was Caitlin

I huffed and turned around "let me explain" I pleaded

"Explain what? How you can't text your best friend back who's been worried sick for two days!" She spat

"I'll tell you but we need to go somewhere else"

She bit her lip reluctantly but nodded in agreement.

She followed me into the girls toilets and I made sure every stall was clear.

"My parents are getting a divorce" I told her

The anger on her face faded and her eyes widened, she threw her arms around me and pulled me into a tight hug.

"I'm so sorry Keira" she placed her head on my shoulder

"It's fine but i just wasn't that really up for talking about it."

"I understand, sorry for yelling" she broke away

"Nah it's cool, sorry for not accepting your invites to play candy crush" I giggled

"Hey" she said defensively

"Oh and one other thing"

I explained about how Luke found me and invited me back to his and how I was only there to call someone and it ended up the pair of us talking to each other for hours.

"So... do you like him?" She questioned tilting her head to the side

"I don't know, I had never seen that side of him before"

"Interesting." she stroked her non existent beard which sent us into a fit of giggles

"Let's get to class" I said noticing the time

"Okay dokey" she smiled.

Caitlin pouted when I told her that she was sitting next to Ashton but her mood changed significantly when he shot her a smile.

She sat down next to him and turned her head and winked at me, I rolled my eyes and took my seat.

Luke sat down beside me, his cologne hit my nose, I hid a smile. Why was I smiling?

"Simmer down class simmer down" Mr Kendall spoke up

Everyone's attention moved from their friends to him.

"Now today we are going to be looking at different styles of art on the smart board-"

He shook his head, we all shot each other puzzled looks

"Sorry everyone I seem to have left my usb in the car, I'll be back in 2" and with that he left closing the door behind him.

Surprisingly the room fell silent, Ashton turned around and faced myself and Luke.

"So Keira I heard you were being extra friendly to Luke on Friday" Ashton smirked

"What?" I stuttered

"Luke was telling me that you came to his house and you know" Ashton said still giving no indication as to what he was talking about.

I squinted my eyes in confusion

Ashton sighed and some girl from the other side of the class yelled out

"Did you guys have sex?"

I felt instantly sick, my mouth dropped open as I turned to Luke.

He looked up at me and cleared his throat

"Go on Keira tell them how bad you are" he laughed

I was definitely going to be sick

"You lying bastard" I yelled smacking him right across the face, I ran out the door 100% sure I was going to throw up.
