Chapter 7
"You sure you have everything?" My mother asked for the millionth time. It was now Friday, which meant I had to take care of the kids, which also meant it's the night Martha and Dave would be leaving, meaning I'd be sleeping over.
"Yes mom. This is your fourth time asking and this is my fourth time saying yes." It was only for two days, how much stuff was I suppose to bring?
I got a call 5 minutes ago from Mr. Davis saying he was on his way. Honestly, hearing that he would pick me up, made me really happy inside.
Before I know it, a honk outside was heard, so I gathered my bags and went outside. Let me tell you, seeing him inside the car looking hotter than ever, made me excited for this weekend.
As I approached the car, he came out and met me halfway.
"Good evening Jennifer." he said in his businessy voice. God I wish he'd talked to me like a regular person, we're not making a business deal so he can cut the act.
"Good afternoon Mr. Davis." I attempted but failed miserably in my business voice.
He took my bags, lightly brushing his hands with mine, making a shocking sensation run through me.
'Imagine the other places he'd touch me'
Stop Jenn! He's right in front of you.
I made my way to the passenger side as he made his way to the trunk, putting my bags away. It was only a gym bag with my clothes and shoes and a medium size travel bag with my makeup and bathroom stuff.
"Ready to go?" He voiced, startling me a little. I didn't even know he was in the car yet.
"Uh- yeah" I said grabbing my seatbelt and pulling it across my body.

"Jenny!" Danielle squealed once I walked through the door.
I kneeled on one foot and gave her a big hug. It's honestly so nice seeing her. She's always in a bright mood which brightens my mood.
I could hear Dan from the other room, shout 'hello' from the screen room, where he usually spends his time playing video games.
You tend to learn how things go around here, notice how this place monitors without even trying. . . It just happens. That screen room is like his second nature so when his in in, I leave him alone in his gamer world.
"Would you like me to show you the guest room you'll be staying in?" Mr. Davis asked.
"Uh sure?" I've honestly never had this long of a conversation with him since I first applied for this job, it's different and I love it.
I started walking in front of him, making my way up the stairs, feeling eyes behind me the entire time walking up. As we made our way down the hall, I was amazed at how many doors were in this hall.
Are they all bedrooms? My whole family can live here. Then again it's just me and my mom.
"So..." He said, still looking forward. He kept his gaze off me and I didn't know if it was intentional or not. Maybe he's just looking at his amazing home. . .
"Yes?" I asked looking up from my black converse. I know, not the classiest but it is the comfiest.
"I was invited to a little college reunion tomorrow night and was wondering if you would like to accompany me."
Seriously? Him and me, college reunion?
"Really?" I'm pretty sure my eyes were the size of golf balls. A college reunion? Usually reunions happen years after everyone's finished. I keep forgetting this guy is in his thirties.
"Yes" he said accompanied by a light chuckle.
"Which college?" I asked. I mean he is like a millionaire.
"San Francisco Art Institute"
Oh god! That's the college I wanted to go to! Of course I didn't have enough money so I ended up not going to college at all.
"Really!" I chirped louder than intended.
"Yeah."
"For a millionaire like you, I would've never guessed you went to that college."
"Is that a bad thing?" He asked. I looked over at him, he had his hands in his front pockets making his muscles pop out his button up. This man is literally making me melt.
I bit my lip cautiously "Well no, I guess I'm just surprised a person like you can be this successful but go to a college like that. Usually the big shots go to ivy leagues."
"Hey, you graduated high school right? What college are you planning on going to?"
"I uh- I'm not going to college. I didn't have enough money."
"Oh..." He probably thinks I'm throwing my life away, "Well here we are." he said, taking one hand out his pocket, using his hand to show me the door. But before I could enter, he stepped in front of me, blocking my way and leaving us inches apart.
"Will you be accompanying me tomorrow night?" He whispered.
"Sure." He was staring into my eyes, I couldn't handle it.
His sky blue eyes.
"Perfect." he said while scanning my body before stepping to the side and walking off. I watched him leave, while fiddling with the knob, rushing to get in. Once I did, I let out a big breath.
Did that really just happen?
'Yes'
Am I really going on a date with him? Is this even a date? I mean obviously his wife couldn't go, so it would be embarrassing to go alone. Right?
'Too many questions'
What do I wear?
'Well... your'e fucked'
