It was a peaceful night in the owl house for most. While the residents slept, collector just stayed awake staring at the ceiling. The child turned on their side looking at the pink rabbit plush that was discarded on the side next to them.

The child stared at the plush before sitting up, grabbing Francois and floating out of the basement trying not to wake up the sleeping hunter who was hugging a wolf plush as his palisman snuggled in his hair. The collector turned to the wooden door before closing, trying to minimise the amount of sound noise it made in the process before continuing their journey and ascended up the stairs and floated out of a open window before sitting curled up on the roof looking at the stars.

'Good thing the bird worm isn't awake currently. That thing looked like a parasite...' collector thought as they shuddered at the repressed memory of hooty first being freed from their imprisonment "it's weird..." the child spoke to themself "why did I force people to feel trapped too?" The child questioned as the looked back up at the taunting stars as the stars in their eyes and their pupils constricted in Deep thought.

"Maybe, you didn't know what you were doing?" A mysterious voice answered the self asked question making collector jump and look behind them before the stars in their eyes and their pupils dilated when they noticed it was just king.

"KING-Mhmhm!" Collector was cut off as a swift claw covered their mouth stopping them from talking "shhhh! I don't want eda and Raine to find out we're awake" king explained as he took his claw off of his friend's mouth. "What are you doing here anyway? it's 12:05" the young titan asked his friend making the collector's smile drip as they sink to the ground, turning their direction to the stars again "I don't know. It's just..." Collector spoke.

"Do you ever realise that all your friends will disappear?"-c
"Weh?"-k

"I mean the titans did, Luz did. And i can't bring them back" the collector continued "and if you live forever you'll just be living in eternal silence, forever alone" the star child spoke as the light in their eyes dimmed "and even if you did have someone left what if their the worst person and..... hurt you?"the celestial child finished before muttering "it doesn't help that they mocking me..." as they turned their attention back to the stars.

The young titan was silent for a few minutes looking up at their friend before deciding to speak. "Collector... everyone has to go eventually and someday you will meet them on the other side but you shouldn't stop living and live life in worry for who is going to die next or when all you can do is live the life they would want for you. I heard a certain human tell a certain blonde haired witch that." The titan finished as he put a claw on his friend's arm.

Collector looked at king before they started laughing but over time the laughs turned into crying. King froze in thought not sure on what to do, then the titan embraced his friend in a hug as the crying just turned to sniffs. "Do you want to head back inside? We can wake up Hunter by hitting pots and pans against each other this time" king asked as collector let go of him.

"Sure, let's go" the celestial child sniffed as they wiped their tears. The duo headed inside as collector sent one last regretful look at the stars before they followed his friend inside.
