Part 17

*Steph POV*

"You know if you keep on smiling like that your cheeks are going to burst and make such a mess." Emz bumped her elbow into me as we walked from her car towards the bowling arcade. The guys had taken off ahead of us and were making their way inside, something about them having a score to settle in regards to an arcade game.

"I know, I know. I promise if they do, it won't be in your car. How are you feeling sleep wise? Ready for another fun filled spook night?"

"Yeah, I'm not too bad. Feeling a lot better than what I thought I would after last night's drinks. How about you?"

"The same. I wouldn't say no to more sleep, but I'll manage. Well I suppose that depends on how worn out we'll get after this. As long as we get some chill out time before the shoot we should all be good." Upon entering the arcade I noticed that we were the only group in there, I couldn't see the guys anywhere. Emz pointed to the back of the arcade where the guys stood around a house of the dead shooter video game.

"You better be ready for an ass whooping my dear Padge, cause I'm about to hand it to you on a plate!" Jay called him out as he shouldered the pretend gun and put a few coins in to begin the game.

"What's the beef then?" I asked Moose as we stood next to him to watch the play off.

"It goes way back a few years, Padge always kicks Jay's ass on this game and every time we are at an arcade Jay insists on a re-match." He explained as he watched intensely.

"So you're a sore looser then Jay?" I asked him, he turned to look at me giving me a cheesy grin.

"This guy just cheats that all there is to it." He turned back to the game in hand. "You are shitting me" He had died in the game.

"I win again. Just give it up." Padge held his hands high in triumph.

"Aww, no Padge come on, that was my fault; give the poor guy a rematch." I said feeling slightly guilty for the fact that I had caused Jay to loose.

"Ah no harm in letting the lad try again I suppose." Padge winked before starting the game again.

"Come on let's leave the boys to their little competition and have one of our own as I spotted a need for speed racing game near the entrance that we just have to play." I didn't take much persuading from Emz to follow her and go play the racing game. We had a few races and called it a draw as a sad faced Jay came over. I gave him a hug and he held me back tightly. "You do know it's only a game."

"Of course. I was just jesting, I'll beat the old man one day."

"Oi, less of the old." Padge made him jump slightly. "Are you all ready for a thrashing at bowling?"

"Girls vs guys is it?" Jay teased.

"Even though that isn't fair we would still probably kick your asses. As we haven't got all day should we just split into two groups of three. Might not take as long as individually or pairs." I suggested as we walked over to the desk to get our rental bowling shoes.

"I'm going with both you girls then if that's how it is."

"Nah, we will be on a different team, to make it fair. We are the team captains though." Emma said. I nodded in agreement. We got our shoes and then headed to the lanes. We were the only ones bowling by the looks of it. I went over to the jukebox and put some money in and made a quick playlist. AC/DCs back in black came blaring out of the speakers; I rocked my way back over to everyone else. "Awesome song to start with. Always makes me think Tony Stark is just going to show up in his Iron suit." The guys all looked with raised eyebrows.

"Hey, us girls can dream ok." I stuck my tongue out "So teams, I'm going to pick first." I looked to Jay who had a big grin on his face almost knowing that I would pick him. "Matt" I grinned at Jay who now frowned. Matt walked over and sat on the bench that I was stood next to.

"Since he is on a winning streak I'm going to say Padge." Padge high fived Emz as he went and sat on the opposite bench.

"Oh you took my next choice." Emma shrugged. "Hmm, okay, this one is easy, Moose, it's your lucky day. You can join the winning team." Poor Jay.

"You two best not have a bust up on my team!" Emma warned them both shaking her finger at them both. She pulled a hair band off her wrist and tied her wavy hair up into a high ponytail. She meant business, I chuckled. "Losers by the drinks and food before tonight." We all nodded in agreement. Jay scowled at me and pointed at his eyes then at me, kind of like how it goes in 'Meet the parents'.

"Are you ready for the Nemo express to looser-Ville" everyone looked in my direction and laughed.

"Really, you're going with that?" Matt asked.

"Nemo express is an awesome team name, and that is what we are called. End of."

"I got one, Frying Nemo, cause you are going to get battered and fried." Jay gave me a wink as again everyone laughed.

"Looks like we are going with Frying Nemo then" Emz said with a shrug as she typed the team names into the computer. We did a quick flip of a coin to see who was going first and I was happy that the Nemo Express would be bowling first, time to kick some booty.

We played 18 frames so we each got 3 turns and Nemo Express got Fried. We were in the lead by a few points but on Jays last turn he bowled a strike meaning that Frying Nemo beat us.

"Losers! Ner ner ner!" Emz danced about high fiving Padge and Jay.

"Where you buying dinner at then losers?" Padge asked rubbing his hands together. I pouted my bottom lip and rested my head on Moose's shoulder, pretending to be upset. He put his arm round my waist as we walked over to the counter to return the bowling shoes collect our own. Jays eyes were yet again on me as I glanced in his direction, cue the red cheeks. After changing shoes we walked out of the building and had a look at what was located nearby.

"I think you should take us to Nandos for dinner." Jay suggested as he pointed to where it was located.

"Sounds good to me." Everyone else agreed.

"I best carry my winner's trophy though as I don't want anyone else to steal it."

"Jay what are you on about there wasn't any trophies?" He walked over to me, grinned and then scooped me up chucking me onto his shoulder. "Jay put me down" I giggled.

"Not until we get to Nandos." He slapped me on the butt and made off to Nandos.

"Help!" I yelled as I tried to get down. Everyone else just shook their heads as they followed behind. I huffed and tried to cross my arms somewhat. Jay picked up speed meaning I was bouncing about even more. Thankfully the restaurant was only across the big car park so we didn't have too far to go.

We were seated quickly and drinks were soon sat in front of us. I had gone for a fruity cider, everyone else had a beer apart from Emma and Moose who were both driving they had a cola. "A toast to Frying Nemo. Good game guys." I raised my glass as did the others and clunked glasses. "Now where's food I'm starved."
