Chapter Fourteen

*Emma POV*

'Where's Steph at? They still up there?' I asked the group when we got back to the HQ. They were packing up the equipment for the night.

'She and Jay have gone out to sit in your car. We're calling it a quits for the night and heading back to the Inn. How did you guys get on?' Karl asked as I handed him the camera.

'It was pretty quiet to be honest. We would like to try another room tomorrow night though if that's ok?' Matt asked. Karl nodded.

'Sure if you're volunteering to do it. Think Steph had a bit of a scare that's why they asked where your keys were and headed out.'

'Best go and check on her then.' I turned to Padge and Moose. 'Are you guys joining us for a drink tonight?'

'Yeah of course, aint going to say no to a drop of the good stuff.' Padge rubbed his hands together cheerfully.

'Well we will go and pick some drink up on the way back then, so if you want to follow these guys back we will see you there.'

'Can you get some more smokes too?'

'And a Crunchie.' Moose added in.

'Tell you what guys, right me a shopping list and I'll do your weekly shop for you while I'm there'

'You're a darling.' Padge winked. I playfully shoved him.

'Are we ok to leave now then Karl?'

'Yup. We will catch you all tomorrow.' Everyone said their goodbyes before Matt and I left the room. 

'Fancy offering us up for another visual tomorrow' I bumped my arm into Matts as we walked down the driveway next to each other.

'Are you not liking my excuse to spend some more time with you' I gave him a look to which he winked and placed his arm over my shoulders.

'Well spending time together in a dark scary room isn't the way i'd prefer spending time with you' Matt looked at me with a goofy grin and raised eyebrows. 'Oh my gods, I did not mean that how it sounded. Pervert.' I laughed pushing him off of me.

'I know, I was just winding you up. So how would you prefer spending time with me? If it were just the two of us?' 

'Erm, maybe go out somewhere, food and a movie is always cool. I dunno really.' 

'Emz!' Steph yelled as she opened up the car door. 'I thought something had got you, or maybe Matt had murdered you.' 

'Nah, I decided to let her live tonight.' 

'You're lucky your not trying to find niemo in real life. As soon as we finished filming she ran down here.' Jay explained as he moved from the front seat into the back where Steph got in with him, leaving Matt to ride shotgun. Steph gave him a punch to the arm as he flapped his arms as an impression of her running from the building. I started up the engine, hut a few buttons on the navigation and set out while we shared stories of our visuals.

We pulled up outside a 24 hour supermarket and all piled out of the car. Jay grabbed a shopping cart and picked Steph up and chucked her in it before wizzing off down the first isle. The security guard didn't look that fussed as the store was practically empty. Matt didn't give me a minute to comment before I too was placed into a cart. I couldn't stop giggling as Matt took off racing after the other two. We manged to get to the bakery where there was a few long baguettes, Steph and I grabbed one each and we had a mini jousting competition. 

'I have never had so much fun shopping.  Please come with me every time I shop.' Steph laughed at Jay as she pulled her phone out to take some pictures. We all followed doing the same. Taking some funny and random photos of us all in carts, or picking up funny items and pretending to read the labels. We also took a few group selfies.

Along the way round we manged to pick up a few snacks and most importantly some jd  and coke. 'I've got this.' I said pulling out my card and sliding it into the chip and pin machine.

'Don't be silly. We can pay.' Matt offered.

'As I said I've got this.' 

'Fine, but we are getting tomorrow nights tipple and taking you both out for the day tomorrow.' Jay informed us. 

'Can't grumble at that offer.' Steph chuntered as she opened up a bag of jelly beans and tucked into them. 'Actually that offer kind of stinks, we will be asleep most of tomorrow.'

'We will have to sort some other time then.' Jay tried to steal a jelly bean and ended up with a slapped hand. 

'We'll hold you to that.' She said as we walked back to the car. 

'If only she knew' Matt whispered in my ear causing shivers to tingle my spine.

*Steph POV*

'Where are we all going to fit to drink anyway. These rooms aren't exactly on the large side.' I asked as we headed up the stairs in the Inn.  It was about 3 am and I was far from tired. 

'Our room isn't a too bad size.' Jay unlocked the door just after mine where he was sharing with Matt. 

'Are we going to be interrupting anything, you know with you both sharing a bed?' Emz teased as we waited for them to open the door.

'It's a twin room.'

'Well how do we know you don't push them together at night. You might do it tonight, you know with being scared and everything.' I added to the teasing sitting down on one of the beds.

'Aren't you both alone in rooms tonight?' We both kind of looked at each other like they had a point. 

'You can have a room each if you like and we can share your twin room.' I suggested, deciding that I didn't want to be alone in a room tonight.

'After you've just teased us about having a twin room.'

'Sowwie' I pouted  and tried to do my best puppy dog eyes. 'Let's have a sleep over party. You two can sleep on the floor and Emz and me can take the beds.' Jay just shook his head.

'I'll go ask Padge if we can go stay with him and Moose for the night.' Emma joked as she got off the bed next to me and headed to the door. Matt quickly stepped infront of the door.

'Jays just teasing you both. If you need to you can stay in here, or us with you.' She raised her brows.

'Now who's the one being a Pervert.' 

'Shut it you, i didn't mean it that way'' they both laughed. I was lost. I jumped as the door opened and Padge walked in followed by Moose.

'Speak of the devil and he shall appear' Jay did a very good Bane impression. 'Did you bring some glasses?' Moose held up a few glasses and went and placed them on the dresser table. He pulled out a Crunchie from the shopping bag before starting to munch. I got off of the bed and went to the dresse to begin pouring the drinks. 

'How many shots of JD to coke do you all like?' I asked after I sorted Emz and mine out and handing it to her. 

'About this much jd and this much coke' Jay held his fingers wide for the jd and small for the coke. 

'Alcoholics' I tutted and got pouring. A whole bottle of JD was gone in just 6 drinks. It was a good thing we picked up three bottles in total.

' You can both talk, we saw how much you had in yours.' I just grinned at Jay as I handed him his drink taking a seat next to him. We were on one bed, Matt, Emz and Padge on the other, close to the open window incase they wanted a cheeky smoke, amd poor Moose was just sort of perched on the dresser table.

'To an awesome night' Jay held up his glass in a toast.
