Finney's pov~

I felt a warm compression leaning up against my arm as my eyes laid closed, the feeling of grogginess prominent at the moment. I turned my head every which way, trying to find the perfect stance to get comfortable in and fall back asleep.
I have late nights with Robin, (not like that you filthy animal) so I rarely feel well rested once the morning comes. We usually stay up and talk, play video games, or just spend time together.
As of lately, Robin found a new interest, which we discovered was baking. I think it's pretty adorable, not only does he wake me up to something newly made every morning, but it's always something sweet to quench my thirst.

I stretched my limbs, my arm hitting the bed board with a quiet thud as I flickered my eyes open. "Ow." I groaned.
I leaned over onto my side, where Charlie, our new kitten, purred in his sleep, using my arm as a headrest.
My heart leaped into action, immediate emotions dripping into place as I saw his fluffy paws carefully wrap around his tiny body.
I chuckled to myself, before slowly backing away from the cat loaf and stepping out of bed.
The coldness of the wood floor against my feet sent a cool chill up my spine, the type that reminds you why you wanted to stay in bed. I glanced out the window, where fog had began collecting and raindrops sat against the tinted glass. It was raining today, Robins favorite weather.
Oh, yeah, Robin. He's the reason I even got up. To be honest, I've enjoyed the fun little surprises of his new creations each morning and I quite look forward to it. Today, however, the smell gave it away too quickly and the surprise became known as soon as I stepped out of our room.
As I stamped down the stairs quickly, the smell of freshly baked cookies became stronger. I followed it like a dog, allowing myself to grin at the tiny  bit of consideration my boyfriend put into making me happy.
As I thought this out, Robin stepped out of the corner and peeped his head at me.
"Ah, Goodmorning, for once, mi amor." The newly recruited baker teased, stepping out to greet me.
He gave me a big hug, his arms warming me up in the matter of seconds.
"Just because I wake up in the afternoon doesn't mean you can't say goodmorning, you dumbass." I smirked, letting him go and looking slightly up at him.
"Also, if you're going to bake me cookies even thought you don't like them or do some cheesy shit like that, then don't make fun of me, yeah?" I babbled, pushing my hair out of my face as I took a seat.
He rolled his eyes slightly, his lips curving into a grin that i was convinced I could audibly hear.
"Well, could you not be such a downer? Look, i woke my ass up to bake you cookies, so give me some mercy." Robin chuckled, opening up a platter on the table that held the sweet, heavenly chocolate chip cookies that he had made. He picked one up gently, careful not to let it crumble, and pushed it up against my mouth. I looked up to him, seeing his face scrunch up into a smile that showed off his perfect, pearly white rows of teeth. He then continued, "Eat it, baby. It's sweet."
My face became flushed, and i uneasily took the cookie from his hands and took a bite.
Of course, it was delicious, and I couldn't stop myself from letting a tiny grin plaster itself onto my face as the taste filled my mouth.
Robin just chuckled, taking a step closer to me and leaning down to give me a kiss on the cheek.
"You know it's good, Finn"
