I walk back up to my room, worried feeling inside. I know I might be overreacting, but Bexley staring through the window at his scared the crap out of me. Part of me has this feeling she is going to jump out from behind a random corner and murder me.

It feels even weirder when I get upstairs and she is sitting on a bench outside my room. She has a book in her hands but I can tell she hasn't read a word from it. Her eyes have lifted from the pages in front of her and are focused on me.

"Hey, Ember," she says in a voice a little too sweet ti be natural especially after what she just saw. I give her a sweet smile back.

"Hi, Bexley. How are you?" I ask. She closes her book and places it on the bench. She stands up and walks over next to me.

"Can we talk in your room?" she asks. I nod and open the door. I motion for her to walk in.

"Of course," I say. We walk into the room and luckily my maids are not there. She closes the door behind her. Her smile melts away into an annoyed expression.

"What was that?" she asks with a raised eyebrow. I quickly think of an excuse. The only one that comes to mind: ignorance.

"What was what?" I ask. She raises her eyebrows even higher if that is possible. I immediately regret saying that. How stupid am I?

"How stupid are you?" she asks, reading my mind. Exactly! At least someone else realized that. . . Wait! Hey! I look over at my room through the corner of my eyes, refusing to budge my face so it isn't looking at Bexley.

"I'm not stupid," I tell her. She smirks and chuckles.

"Yeah, of course. Now, what was that in the gym?" she asks. I shrug.

"You mean with the prince? We were just talking," I tell her. As her smirk goes away one comes to my face.

"So you just happened to run into him today?" she asks. I nod. "At the same time you always go?" she asks. I nod again. "Almost like you have a schedule for the gym?" she asks. That time she gets me. I hesitate for a second before shrugging.

"I guess I just know when I want to workout," I tell her. She clenches her jaw as she stares at me. I walk over to my table and sit down, placing my MP3 and water bottle on it.

"And why do you want to work out then?" she asks. She walks over to the table, but doesn't sit down. Instead, she stands above looking down at me with her arms crossed.

"That can remain a secret," I say sharply. I cross my arms and tilt my head.

"What makes you think Prince Charles is so into you?" Bexley asks me. I release a small chuckle and smirk at her.

"The fact that I don't try to stick my boobs in his face," I reply. She clenches her jaw once again and releases an aggravated sigh. She turns around and quickly walks out the door.

By the time my maids have returned and I have pretty much brushed off whatever just happened with Bexley, I have made a new discovery about the palace: they have a dance studio. Apparently, when Princess Celia was young she wanted to be a ballerina.

Abigail came to my room and told me that she remembered that I enjoy dancing. She asked me if I would want to come with her to the palace dance studio which is where she has apparently spent all her time at. She said she wanted a dance partner to practice with and she thought Giselle was too big of a jerk to practice with again.

So of course I couldn't tell her I was busy. I couldn't come up with an excuse fast enough so I ended suckering myself into going with her. I told her that I would meet up with her there after I found proper dance attire.

I had looked through my wardrobe for a long time and apparently the palace does not thing ballet shoes should be worn at the palace. Finally I said forget it and met her in the dance studio which is just down the hall from the gym.

"I think I found them!" Abigail says as she turns away from a cabinet to look at me. I walk over to the cabinet and peak inside. There are several bins. We open one to find it filled with tap shoes. Another is filled with black ballet shoes. I dig through the ballet shoes and find my size. They slip on easily.

"So, what type of dancing do you do?" I ask as I stand up. I walk to the middle of the room where a black dance floor is set up. I sit down in the middle and begin my stretches.

"Pretty much any," she answers. "But ballet is my favorite." I nod and put my legs out in front of me. I stretch down and try to reach them. I do it without effort. Abigail comes over next to me and does the same.

"I like ballet," I agree before spreading my legs and stretching to the right. She nods and we both stay quiet.  When I have finally finished stretching, I stand up and walk over to the bars. I stretch my leg out and place it on top.

Abigail walks over and copies my position. In the mirror I see her inspecting my leg. "You need to keep it stiff," she says. "It helps keep it straight." I nod and do as she says. "Better." I give her a small smile.

"Thanks. I always struggle with that," I tell her. She smiles and nods.

"A girl at my studio at home used to, too. Do you want to know how we fixed it?" she asks. I shrug.

"Do I?" I ask. She laughs and nods.

"We took her to one of the girls's farm and made her balance her leg on a cow. If she hadn't kept it straight it would have hurt the cow and the cow would have hurt the girl," she explains. I raise my eyebrows and laugh.

"How would it have hurt the cow?" I ask. She shrugs.

"I'm not really sure. I think it had something to do with the pressure it applied maybe. The girl who lived on the farm explained it all scientifically," she said. I laugh.

"I can tell quite a few stories about dance myself," I tell her. She laughs.

"Tell me some then," she says. I smile and nod before telling her about how Lily and I first became friends.

The second part of this was sort of random. And boring. Basically it was just a filler. It is also late. Sorry. I'll try to update again tomorrow because that is when the drama really starts. Comment and vote!
