I am really sorry that this isn't an actual update. I am trying to work on it, but several things have stopped me in its path.
The first is school. I have a lot of projects and homework and stuff so being at school from 8 to 3:30 then coming home to do two and a half hours of homework is really tiring. There's been several nights when I sit down to write and I feel all ready and stuff and I start typing and about fall asleep on my keyboard. Writing has become a weekend thing unfortunately. :( And I hate it because I see a future in it.
My grandma is also moving. This might not seem like that big of a reason to not be able to write, but it actually is. My grandma is almost 70 years old and my grandpa has some mental and physical disabilities from serving for our country. These problems have caused my grandma to have to make all the decisions. Fortunately, they just found a good house for them and they are in the process of moving. But since my family is the only part that lives locally we have been helping a lot so that is where a lot of our extra time is going.
And finally, I am just not interested in writing this story. I love Ember and Celia and all the other characters I have created in this series, but I am just not feeling it anymore. I don't know if it is just the fact that I don't feel like writing anymore or the fact that I am kind of done with writing selection stories, but I am seriously considering canceling this, which I hate.
I feel really bad about deleting it or putting it on hold, but I honestly feel like no one is even reading it. It's like the same five people reading it. I am going to take the next week to think about it, but for now the story is on hold. I'm sorry. :(
