Chapter 2

Ava's pov
Mom told Mia and I to watch Sadies private but personally I'm not interested in watching her perfect Blackbird for an hour. I go over to the other studio to watch the older girls who just came back from NANS. There's Hannah who's in U15 and she got 17th and qualified for worlds and Jessica, her twin, who got 7th. Jessica is my favorite "big girl" because she gets how it is to not be the perfect twin.

Just then my bestest friend in the whole wide world walks in. "AVAAA!!!" "SOPHIAAAA!!!" We run at each other and jump into a hug. I haven't seen her since NANS last month and it's been the longest month with Mia and her best friend Lauren. They're cool and all but not as fun as us. "

IM GETTING MY NEW DRESS SOON!" Sophia shrieks. That girl has almost as much energy as me. "ITS WHITE AND HAS RAINBOWS WITH A BUNCH OF BOWS! ITS SUPPOSED TO COME IN NEXT WEEK SO I AM GONNA BE ABLE TO WEAR IT TO THE FEIS IN 3 WEEKS!!!" We jumped up and down excited for the feis and just class in general. Sophia just moved into prizewinner with me and Mia but Lauren is already in prelim, but I only need one more first in my hornpipe then new steps, a new dress and a new level to conquer. Just another obstacle put in my way to world championness. I intend to be up there my first year I'm able to and I want Sophia Mia and Lauren up there with me.

Mia's POV
Mom had told me and Ava to watch Sadie's private but neither of us are that interested in watching her so blackbird a billion times for an hour. After about 30 seconds of watching Sadie, Ava gets up and walks over to the other studio. I wait until Sadie finishes her full set before joining her.

Ava's with a bunch of the girls who just came back from NANs. There's Hannah who's U15 and got 17th, so she's a WQ. Then there's Jessica, Hannah's twin, who got 7th. Jessica is Ava's favorite twin because as Ava says, "She understands what it feels like to not be the golden child." Yeah yeah yeah. My favorite's Hannah just cause she's like me.

All of a sudden I hear, "AAVVVAAA!!" We all turn around and Ava yells, "SSOOPPHHIIAA!" And all of a sudden Ava and Sophia run and hug each other. We haven't seen Sophia since NANs a month ago. But it wasn't a complete bore because me and my best friend, Lauren, hung out a lot. Ava's not so into Lauren, but I love her!

"I'm getting a new dress soon!" Sophia screams. Ava and Sophia have like a boatload of energy and once Mom told me that when both of them are in our house, she can get a migraine.
"Is white and has rainbows with a bunch of bows! It's supposed to come in next week so I'm gonna be able to wear it to the Feis in three weeks!" She screams, and the two of them jump up and down.

Sophia just moved into prizewinner, but I've always beaten her yet mom still won't let me get a new dress. Sigh. I can't wait till the Feis in three weeks because I really just need my last first so I can get outta prelim. Then I'll be on my way to becoming a champion, and I intend to have Lauren, Sophia, and Ava right there by my side.
