Ch.12: School...AGAIN

Today I start school again. I have pretty high hopes since this is a private school. I hope they don't ask me a bunch of questions like they did at Comic Con. I think I'm gonna do a blog on that another day on my tumblr I created!

I just got out the bathtub and towel dried my short hair. I put on some enchanted lotion and put on my outfit. We don't have a dress code so I guess that we just wear whatever. I put on a pair of blue jeggings and a long sleeve shirt from Pink. I know it's like a million degrees outside, but it's thin and oversized and looks really good with this matching diamond watch and earring set Mom gave me for being so good at Comic Con.

I straighten my hair then put on some light makeup before making my way downstairs where Dad was humming some song while cooking bacon and Mom was feeding Willow a bottle. "You excited?" she says with a cheeky grin. "Kinda." I shrug. "It'll be great!" she says. I laugh at her positivity and nod as she comes up to me and kisses me on the cheek while holding Will. I kiss Will on her head and whisper in her ear, "Will and Jay forever." and she smiles showing off her dimples. "I'm gonna go put her down and when I come back we'll be ready to go!" she giggles.

I don't know what the big deal about school is. You go to a place and learn for a grade that's based off of test which are never really accurate as to how much you really know.

I grab a couple of pieces of bacon before Mom comes back downstairs with her jingling keys in her hand. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous, but I wanna show Mom and Dad that I'm strong enough to do this. Who knows, I'm kinda thinking about acting..

Once we reach the school, Mom takes me in to the front desk in the main office. I get my schedule and then Mom leaves me making sure to kiss my forehead first. I exit the door of the office leading into the hallway. They told me to go to guidance, so they could get someone to give me a tour. After I talk to the lady inside, she sends out a girl, about my age, to help me.

"Hi, I'm Chloe. What's your name?" she says and I pick up on her very southern accent. "Hey, I'm Jade." I say as we walk to my 5th block class. We're going backwards so that way I can just stay in my 1st block.

"They pick me all the time to do this because I'm "distracting" in class because I "Bounce off the walls" she says using air quotes. I laugh, "I think you're hilarious!" "Well, ya know, I try my hardest but sometimes it don't get through." she snickers along. "So where are you from? I noticed your accent!" I say excited to already have a new friend. "Georgia!" She exclaims. All of a sudden she bursts out into song, "Sweet tea, pecan pie, and homemade wine, where the peaches grow!" I've never heard that song in my life, but she seems very passionate about it. She said this singer Zac Brown sang it but she's not sure how it's spelled. We laugh a little longer before she drops me off at my first block.

In my first block, we have one minute till school officially starts, so I sit between a girl with blonde curled hair and a boy with blue eyes.

After that one minute is up, the teacher begins to call role. "Mackenzie, Justin.."
