Ch.13: 1st Block

After the teacher is done calling role, she tells us to get into groups of five to get to know each other better. I end up in a group with Mackenzie, Justin, a girl I'm not too sure of her name, and Chloe.

"Alright class, what we're gonna do is interview each person in your group. You'll need to write it down to prove that you're not just sitting there." the teacher laughs. Not too long after the class is filled with chatter.

"I guess I'll go first." Mackenzie says After we introduce ourselves. "My name is Makenzie- I already said that. Um, my favorite color is baby pink. My favorite actor is Josh Hutcherson- he's like totally so hot!" she begins and I mock throwing up. "You don't think he's hot?" She screams. "Um no. I don't. That'd just be gross. Especially since my mom is like married to him." I giggle. "Haha right because you're Jennifer Lawrence's daughter." she says sarcastically. "Well." I say as her jaw drops. "You're not lying!" she says then begins to fangirl. After a few giggles, The girl I had not previously known, Brooklyn, drops her pencil. When she bends down, I notice her arm was full of bruises. "What happened to your arm?" I ask her. Her eyes widen in fear. "Um- I- um- well- I fell off my skateboard." she stutters. I know that excuse is fake, but I don't push it.

After more interviews, it gets to Chloe. "I love everything and anything country." She giggles almost falling out of her chair. "I own 325 pairs if cowboy boots. I've heard like every country song ever and I line dance about 100% of the time." she says showing off a toothy grin. We write all the information that she gave us down.

My turn. "Well, Im Jade. Jennifer Lawrence is my biological mother. My father is James Franco, but my Dad is Josh Hutcherson. My favorite food is mozzarella sticks, I love all pinks, and I have a little sister named Willow. She cusses all the time. I was at comic con. I like to sing when I'm alone. I cheerlead, which explains the boot on my foot. Sometimes I get really bad social anxiety other times Im really social, but other than that, that's about it." I say finishing off that mouth full. Not long after we were done and it kinda just went into small talk.

"OMG Jade! You should do theatre with me!" Mackenzie says. "I don't know.." I say. "Please! I need someone there with me!" she pleads. "Ill try it, but I'm not making any promises." I laugh. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" she says before giving me a big hug.
