Chapter 24: What If?

What If I told you guys that the last chapter was actually THE LAST CHAPTER OF THE TWIST OF FATE TRILOGY?! 

well, originally it was, but I can't let it go just yet... so... here it is Chapter 24: What If

~Jade's PoV~

It was so nice sleeping in my own bed the other night. It's hard to imagine that just a week ago could've been my last night in a bed forever. I have therapy on Wednesdays now and I've decided to do online school due to my hectic schedule. 

Mom has to talk to Teen Vogue. They want to do a cover on me, but Mom doesn't think it's good for me to do just yet, but I will be going to the Teen Vogue party. I decide to get dressed since the party is only in like two hours considering it's an hour drive. 

I take a very quick shower and do my hair in an elegant, messy bun. I wear red flats with a pointed toe, some black leggings and a lengthy black shirt. 

"Jade, you ready to go?" I hear mom call from across the hallway. Dad and Willow are at the park because even I can admit today is a beautiful day. I reply with "Yes." and she's at my door with her keys in hand. 

On the way to the party, we stop at McDonalds because Mom says the food is going to be gross and you can't go wrong with "Mickey D's." After we arrive at the party, we are swarmed by the paps. Mom tells me not to listen to them as they shout, "Why did you try to kill yourself?" and other things of the sort. 

Once we get in, we socialize with multiple people and Mom says to go sit with the other children. I don't like socializing very much anymore. I'm sitting down tweeting on my phone about how great life is and yada yada when someone says, "Hey, I really like your shoes!" I smile and say, "Oh thanks." as I look up. I try really hard not to fangirl, but Maddie freaking Ziegler is complimenting me. "You're Jade right?" She asks with a smile. "Yeah, Maddie?" I ask even though I totally know who it is. "Yeah." She smiles. 

The night carries on and it's mostly just Maddie and I talking about various things like boys, twitter, friends, and other things. When the party is ending, Maddie suggests we take some pictures. As you can imagine, I was stoked. We both posted them on our instagrams. After we exchange numbers, we say our goodbyes and tell some stupid puns. 

What if I just met my new best friend?
